No overpowering coconut flavor
This is the only brand that was recommended to me for a coconut oil that doesn't impart too much of a coconut flavor, so I gave it a try. It's true! I love the health benefits of coconut oil, but I was resisting using it, as it made everything I cooked taste like coconut. I'm not THAT big a fan of coconut, and it was off-putting in some dishes. Now that I have LouAna, though, I can use it in anything without having a coconut flavor take over the dish. I'll keep using this one.

price too high.
Loved the oil. I was new to coconut oil and didn't know what to expect. Thought the price was okay until I went to Walmart the next week and saw it for about a third of the price. Very disappointing. It would only be this high if organic and this is not.

Buyer Beware! This is a VERY SMALL jar!
The product, itself, is fine. This is the brand of coconut oil I always buy at the grocery store; however, I usually buy a 32 ounce jar for about $7 or $8. The grocery store is very far away from me, so I thought paying $10 for this product from Amazon was a reasonable deal. I was very disappointed when the product arrived and was only 14 ounces for over $10. I will not purchase this product again. It is not a good value.

No coconut odor
Didn't smell like coconut. When I bought coconut oil from nuts. com it smelled great and when I cooked with it it smelled the whole kitchen like coconut. This oil has no odor so how can it add the 'nutty' flavor to foods cooked in it. I did notice it tended to burn faster...after trying both oils, I opted to buy the oil from nuts instead.

All the benefits w/o the coconut taste
If you want the benefits of coconut oil, but like me, you're not fond of the taste of coconuts, this coconut oil is for you too. I've been buying it for a while now. Although prices have gone up substantially (I'm assuming in response to the increased popularity of coconut products lately), quality has not gone down. Highly recommended.
