This actually works great in keeping your insulin safe and secure while keeping it cool. Very sturdy container for traveling. Because it is a little on the heavy side, you might want to consider how to pack it into your luggage.

I was able to keep my medication protected and cool for a 14 hour drive for my vacation. This is a perfect size to carry on a long trip. The AUVON insulin cooler kept my shot cool and protected. I can slip it into my suitcase or it will fit into the door side cup holder if you want to have it close and handy and out of the way.

This is a perfect choice to keep your medication safe. I travelled long way from USA to Europe. It remained very cool till arrival. It is TSA approved in all airports I passed thru Europe and USA. I recommended very strongly. It kept up to three injection. The third one a bit tight but I was able to fit 3 inside.

Very satisfied with this. It held 3 pens and kept them chilled for almost 24 hours, much longer than expected. It was kept in an air conditioned area the entire time, which I'm sure helped, but still, impressed with this and will be using it again on another trip.

In April I went on a three-month trip to Europe with 12 Zepbound injections in KwikPens. For this, I bought six Auvan insulin coolers in travel cases. Attractive price, and the information I had convinced me that AUVAN is the best choice. I knew that TSA service, due to occasional hiccups, works very slowly, and a trip from my home to ATL International airport is over an hour. I packed 12 Zepbound injections into 6 Auvan coolers. I also had Auvan gel packs and kept them previously in the freezer for 24 hours. After removing them, I wrapped them in a double layer of paper towels. I put the injections into ZIPLOCK bags (2 per bag, so 6 bags total) and placed everything into velvet bags. I followed the seller’s and manufacturer’s instructions. Two injections per cooler because I knew TSA checks every cooler very closely and takes the injections out, and I wanted to make their job easier. That’s what happened. I attached a letter from my doctor and the original prescriptions. From leaving home to the start of the plane took 6 hours. The flight to Frankfurt lasted another 9 hours. In Frankfurt I waited for my connection: 2 hours and 15 minutes. The flight from Frankfurt was 1 hour 25 minutes. After clearing all procedures at the airport, I arrived at my destination 2 hours later. After placing the injections from AUVAN coolers into the fridge, it turned out that after more than 21 hours of travel they were superbly stored. I had three coolers with thermometers showing 39°F. I was able to keep my injections in those coolers for at least the next 8–10 hours. I highly recommend AUVAN coolers—they’re inexpensive and work very well on long journeys.
