Not Done Yet, But I Love It So Far!
Still working on it BUT I spent about 5 hours the first day building the majority of the ship and I was having so much fun! There's moments when a part has troubles connecting or I pulled out super glue to make sure it stayed, but it has easy to follow directions and is very satisfying to see the work you've done at the end! The lights are bright, I turned them on when they were on the ship, but have not done it in the dark once it is fully assembled. It's a paper/cardboard material so it isn't sturdy plastic but the pieces once locked in place make it sturdy enough to display. The detail is great too because I am putting parts on the deck where I'm thinking "does this matter?" And yes! For detail, authenticity, and to be true to the ship, that tiny part needs to be there. I have had no missing pieces as it all comes in sheets with the pieces you push out and it's very nicely laid out so they're easy to find.

A Great Value on a Better-Than-Expected Product
Gave this as a gift to a fellow Titanic enthusiast and here's what she had to say:"When I received the Titanic model, from some good friends, I was touched by the thoughtfulness, but unsure of the value. My previous experience with paper models were that they looked cheap and were flimsy.CubicFun's Titanic is over 3 feet long, with LED lights and looks expensive when finished. It is amazingly detailed and cleverly engineered. The quality shows in the richness of the colors and the near perfect registration. The only item that was not perfectly printed was the White Star flag which was correct on one side and backwards when the ship was turned around. That said the product is paper over foam, which while being sturdier than paper and cardboard, can't hold a tight tolerance. This is why when you assembly it, I recommend an Exacto knife to enlarge the slots that the tabs go in and glue to hold the tabs in the slots that are too big. If you don't you will be fighting pieces falling off, while you are adding the next piece to the model. Also if you want to move the model, everything needs to be glued down. I recommend a thick gel paper glue that does not dry sticky, I used one made by Kindred stamps but I am sure that you can find similar glue. Less important, but a nice touch is to have several wide point Sharpy Markers, in brown, maroon and black to touch up edges of the tabs and foam so they don't show. I put the kit difficulty between an adult Lego set and a plastic model Airplane.I do recommend the kit to any Titanic lover. Sure is cheaper than than the almost $700 dollar Lego version."Donald J. Very realistic
I really had fun assembling this puzzle, but you have to understand that nothing stays together with punch and push type assembly. Let me hasten to say all the tabs and slots fit together, but to say they will stay together is not exactly true, with all the movement required to build this model. For manufacture to say no messy glue required is misleading at best. Things just keep falling off, you do most of the upper decks, and then they have you turn boat upside-down to put on the bottom. Over all this is an attractive finished product. Worth your time as long as you have some glue handy.I put this on my recommended list.

Fun to build, and holds up well.
This was an awesome kit. I built it with my ten-year-old son. He could do a lot by himself, but definitely needed my help with some bits as a few of them were hard to place. A couple of pieces tore a bit, but could still be used. For the price, I think this is a really good kit. Once it was put together, it has held together well being transported to school for a project. It did take a few hours to do. Overall, my son and I had a lot of fun putting it together.

Very fun build and quality for the price
The media could not be loaded. I bought this kit to build for my 6 year old son who has been fascinated with anything Titanic. The kit is simple and I recommend using some white glue to keep some of pieces in place.

Impressed with finding product
I purchased this for my elderly father who gets bored very easily in the winter when you can't do much outside The finished progress is gorgeous when the lights light up really looks amazing The product it was not intended to be glued together just put it together as a puzzle after reading other Amazon reviews where some of them suggested a dab of glue we did just that and turned out perfect no you cannot take a back apart it's glued together but we actually made a shell and set it up on a shelf on the wall and in case you turn the light on at night very nice product you will love it. The box says it's a 4 hours to put together I doubt that seriously especially if you are using a dab of glue like I suggested

It's cool, but prepare to curse while building it.
If you can make it through this build without uttering one curse word, you are a saint and better than I.1. The way some of these pieces fit is abismal if you don't add some superglue to reinforce. They will fall off with the slightest touch.2. Some of these pieces are so brittle, they will break coming off the frame. Be careful when detaching, careful not to fold the pieces unintentionally, and be careful when attaching the pieces together.Other than that, the instructions are pretty good. Some parts could be clearer, but not too bad. Good kit, just requires a ton of patience.
