GSeat ULTRA ~ Portable Ergonomic Gel Seat Cushion

A little bit small for a car seat.

Cushion worked well. It keeps the pressure off my prostate which was needed due to a medical issue. Cushion is firm and has the middle channel to take pressure off prostate. I use it in the vehicle and is extremely effective. Only negative is you have to center it every time you enter the vehicle but is worth it.

I have had this for a little less than a week. The difference I feel today compared to last week is no joke. Last week I was in so much tailbone pain when getting up from my seat. I have been using a $30 seat cushion I bought via Amazon with a hole in tailbone area on my office chair. I have been angry to come home because anywhere I sat, my tailbone would be in pain. A few years ago I bought a cushion from relax the back and spent about $250. It was a good buy. But I needed something ASAP because life was getting miserable because even the $250 cushion wasn't fully helping. So I bought the Large Ultra Gel Foam Ortho Seat Cushion. NO JOKE. This was the best buy ever. I would say that I am about 70% better. I no longer have pain when I stand up from my chair. Sitting on this cushion makes me realize how my bad posture was contributing to my tail bone pain. I can move this cushion to the kitchen chairs and sit with my son without pain. I see how my cheap $30 cushion was ruining my back. I also see how my Relax the Back cushion was getting old and is no longer firm enough to offer proper support. I am so grateful to Gelco Products. This is the best buy. I will be buying a second one to have in my car and take to my grad class. For specs, I am 5'6 female an am an average weight. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

I have several around the house and in the cars. I also have the smaller travel ones but hardly use them any more because the Ultra works better. I take the Ultra on airline flights and into restaurants. It's bulky but without it, sitting causes stretched ligaments which result in later pain. The carry handle breaks after a dozen or so uses so I just carry it under my arm. It goes through TSA more quickly if I lay it on the conveyor instead of letting it ride through xray in my carry on. My sitting pain is caused by misalignment of the pelvis and sacrum which puts stress on ligaments near the coccyx. The only relief I've found is this cushion, especially the Ultra model. I've tried other brands and designs but I haven't tried other gel seat competitors. I just stick with this one because it works so well. I own 5 to avoid shifting them around the house and cars. It feels firm but that works for me and it relieves pressure points and somehow relieves stress on those ligaments. I gave it 4 stars because the handle design is weak but I would give it 10 stars for improvement to my health and well being.

I’ve put over 100 hours of seat time on my gseat. As a city bus operator being in these seats can cause pain. I’ve used the Amazon basics seat cushion which I do like, it stoped the tailbone pain I had due to buses having little to no cushion on the seats. I purchased this seat cushion due to the design and how compact it was, we make reliefs on the road and it is just more ideal for me to carry. Initially the seat was firm and somewhat uncomfortable but once I broke it in I can’t drive without it. I love it, I just feel that it isn’t worth $100. I’d say 60 is a fair price but it’s a good product. They need to reinforce the carry strap because mine is starting to tear in the corners. If you’re looking to purchase this seat you won’t regret it. My tailbone is happy, I cannot function without it.

If you sit for long periods of time, whether at home or work, this makes a big difference in the way I feel afterward. I no longer notice when I've been sitting for a long time, because I'm not "stiff" or in any pain like I would be, prior to using this. This works great, very durable and easily moved from one seat to another. From my experience, I have no problem recommending this seat pad. I would buy it again.
