My son was over the moon with this book, he has loved Wacky Races ever since he was little and it is hard to get hold of any Wacky Races memorabilia. Great price too. Thank you very much

Fun, colourful, witty.some of the contents are recycled from other Hanna Barbera books.But if you love Dick Dastardly and Muttley it's a must buy. And a real bargain at this price.

A hugely entertaining read - executed with imagination, humour and real insight for a certain generation that grew trying to 'catch the pigeon'!Buy this as the perfect Christmas top-up pressie and after many giggles over the festive season it can retire to a beneficial life in the 'smallest room' - as long as you don't mind a queue!

AJ's husbandI like cartoons. I mentally refuse to relinquish this love so much so that I sulked for a week when Cartoon Network stopped showing re-runs of He-Man. I bought a box set of Samurai Jack DVD's even though our DVD player won't play them. I want to be "The Flash" from Marvel Comics or Optimus Prime, Mirage or Skywarp from Transformers. So I this should be right up my street... Apparently not.It's just not funny. There's poor "interviews" where Dick Dastardly explains why his coats purple. A "who's most dastardly off" between villains from Touche Turtle and Johnny Quest. Sketchy outlines of The Mean Machine and the booby traps it contains (really it has an oil slick button? I didn't know that apart from the reference in probably every Wacky race cartoon made). A Blackadder-esque, my famous ancestors and how the came-a-cropper.It could be so much more and you want it to work but its just rehashed catchphrases that disappoint from page 1 onwards. So put on your Mr Man t-shirt, reminisce of a magical childhood where mice could make chocolate biscuits from breadcrumbs and butterbeans and keep your cash in your pocket.
