Truly impressive what this little, inexpensive machine can do. It is perfect for spills, perfect to clean up dog's mishaps (in carpets / on the couch).... I added a liquid cleaning solution, I believe it makes a difference, but it is not clear in the instruction (instructions are not great generally, it is easy to install, but the pictures are a bit misleading). I don't know what the more expensive, bigger machines can do, .. but this one is really good to clean an armchair, a couch, stains on the carpet, or anything else fabric that you can't put in the waching machine. For very big areas, like a whole room carpet clean... It may be too much work. I would recommend it for smaller areas, as you need to use your arm strength. One thing i found odd was the smell of the machine when it was running... it is not too loud (just like a vacuum), but the smell is quite strong, as if it is overheating.

Used it a couple of times. Few times it was kind of stuck giving different sound and not spraying, but then after restarting, started working again, maybe i just did not use it correctly. However cleans well, even old coffee stains from stairs, though needs a special solution.

Cleans mess from carpet effectively. Works well for us (old dog accidents, dropped mugs of coffee). Strong suction. Long lead so you can get everywhere. Short hose so you'll be down on floor (it's a spot cleaner not for trundling across big area). You press the button to spray when you like, so can spray continually while hoovering to improve unhygienic areas, or can leave off spraying to suck liquid from carpet. Comes with bristly brush & spiky brush - both work on carpet. No instructions - you can figure out how to put it together. Have been using it with concentrated pet-friendly carpet cleaner (10ml per litre). Satisfyingly dirty water after use, & fresh carpet.

The whole cleaner had to be taken apart and put together in the opposite way! Terrible product. Took all morning to sort out before any cleaning could be done!! Should be able to give 0 stars!!

Yep. It's good. Really easy and clean to use. Apart from occasionally pulling the hairs from the foam filter (when foam comes out from underneath), which is rarely, you don't need to touch the dirty water. My tank has also 'whitened' like other reviews but I use hot water with carpet cleaner so my fault. Only really designed for small areas but it's that good, like me and previous reviewers, you'll probably be doing a lot more with it. Can be used on sofas too to clean up cat spew stains and other stains if your life is more interesting than mine. Highly recommended product this. Very well designed with thought put into the detail like the reuseable water spray cover that easily unclips to clear blockages and the two well designed tanks that slide then clip into the main unit. Even wrappint the suction pipe after use fits perfectly with the handset clipping securely onto the unit for storage. I Used to have an expensive vax. I wasn't particularly impressed. THis one - at less than 1/3 the price impresses me. UPDATE after 2 months use, (3 occasions) the motor has gone. I guess I found where they cut costs. Shame. Great when it worked but 2 months isn't a lot of use.

Ive used it once and was very impressed. Its not as loud as I expected. Cleaned up perfectly. Lightweight. So far I can't fault it.

Was initially quite pleased but since then the hose has split making a cheaper than my last one yay bargain (vax) to annoying that was a waste of money
