Now pre-assembled! No missing parts. Rugged. Good value
Noting previous reviews as recently as a few days ago, I believe Ironton must have read older reviews, too. My hand truck arrived safe and sound. Contrary to Amazon’s Alexa info, my hand truck required NO assembly. Wheels were anchored by cotter pins and tires inflated. I would consider missing pins and and flat tires as the shipper’s responsibility, which Ironton seems to have met. Dents and other mis-handling in shipment, are the delivery companies’ responsibility. For customers wanting their purchases delivered in protective cardboard boxes, I give three possible reasons why they are not. Cost, which is always passed on to the buyer, cardboard packaging may only provide a false sense of protection, is challenged when shipping heavy metal items, and just the sheer volume of packages shipped by Amazon. More than they can deliver, UPS, USPS, FEDEX are recruited to get that product that I bought (maybe dirt cheap) and delivered to me, sometimes within an hour or so. Some products are sourced further away. They take more time and more handling steps before hitting my doorstep. Potential buyers of this type of product should realize these hand trucks are meant for rough work, whether in a warehouse or a garden. Chipped paint is their baptism. Mine was delivered with just a few ceremonial wraps of tape around the handle and paint-perfect. I’ll need to chip the paint myself. As for the load rating, one review stated, “it's marketed as 600 lb capacity but the tires are only rated for 300 lbs.” The simple answer here is to multiply the tire rating by the number of tires. Voila 600 lbs! My hand truck is equipped with steel, not plastic wheels and flanged wheel bearings, not bushings. To me that’s a real plus after my hand truck begins to age from wear, tear and the elements. Hard rubber versus pneumatic tires. I’ve seen hard rubber tires split from heavy loads. Although susceptible to thorns, etc. pneumatic tires offer, a smoother ride over uneven ground when inflated properly, just like your car. The difficult part of moving 600 lbs. on this hand truck might be stability and grip. The wheels are a little more than a foot apart. There is one P- handle. It is bare steel and may be a challenge to hold a heavy, tall load. We use ours to move 200 lb. Potted [plants around the yard, so it suits our needs well. Advice: Modern refrigerators ARE heavy, high and wide. This hand truck would be at its limit. Moral: If you need to move a 600 lb. appliance, rent or buy and appropriate mover. I like this hand truck. Good value, good performance.

Best value. Comes fully assembled!
This dolly is an amazing value and ZERO assembly. It shows up at your door ready to go for $60! Seriously?! I don't think you're going to find a better deal anywhere else. I needed to move my washer and dryer down some stairs and this worked very well without straps. The wheels held up to the weight without issue and glided smoothly. The rest of the dolly is solid metal and seems well made and should hold up just fine. Seriously people....this is an easy buy.

Really GOOD hand truck!
This is an amazing HAND TRUCK, for such a REASONABLE price. I bought it for a young couple who sell furniture online. It’s GREAT, and has an ample load limit for anything they deliver, including appliances! It has large wheels, which makes it easy to use, to get over walkways and door thresholds. It doesn’t fold. But really it doesn’t need to.

Sturdy, robust steel hand truck... with missing parts
I would have been happy to give this product five stars, except that it arrived with no cotter pins for the wheels. Many other reviewers have reported exactly the same issue, going back as far as June 2021. This was not a problem for me, as I have plenty of cotter pins in my workshop, but still, a complaint as common as this one, for as long as this one has been reported on Amazon, should have been fixed a long time ago by the seller. The seller is just shooting themselves in the foot by not addressing this issue: They're receiving reduced ratings from buyers for the cost of a pair of cotter pins (a few cents). In my case, the reason the cotter pins were missing was obvious: The unit came shipped without a box, simply encased in shrink-wrap plastic. The cotter pins appear to have been held inside a little "pouch" made of the same shrink-wrap plastic, that was wrapped around one of the side members of the hand truck. But by the time I received it, with all the jostling during shipment, that little pouch was torn at the bottom and the cotter pins probably just fell out. My guess is they're probably rattling around on the floor of the FedEx truck in which the unit was delivered. Functionally, other than the missing cotter pins, it's a very nice hand truck, and a good value for the money at the price I paid ($49 in October, 2023): Sturdy all-steel construction, good weld quality, pneumatic wheels (10" diameter, as advertised) and nice hard epoxy finish. If the seller had fixed the "lost cotter pins" issue two years ago (when it was first reported here on Amazon) I'd definitely have given it 5 stars.

Good Product - As Advertised
So far, so good. This hand truck is lightweight but sturdy and perfect for my applications. There were a few skuff marks on the handle from shipping but the manufacturer apparently has upped their game because I did not see the shipping damage others had reported in reviews.
