Works great
My husband does not usually go for all the golf accessories some folks like, but, he likes this. He has been able to retrieve golf balls from some Pretty dense areas as well as shallow water hazards. I would say a must have that really works well.

Pays for itself!
This ball retriever paid for itself the first month I got it. All my golfing buddies borrow it from me as we have lots of water on the course. You have to be a little cautious pushing the end down on a ball if it’s in soft mud but with practice it’s easy. It doesn’t have any moving parts to break like other retrievers so in my view that’s a big win. After dozens of uses, it’s still like new. Highly recommend it!

Fool me once shame on you!
I acquired this item in March as a replacement for a Callaway ball retriever that was inadvertently left in a golf cart following a round. Unfortunately, this particular unit failed within two months, exhibiting a separation at one of the central links. While I continue to carry it, each use is accompanied by a concern that the ball-retrieving mechanism may detach from the main shaft. I anticipate purchasing a new retriever once this occurs, though it will not be from this manufacturer. UPDATE: the company reached out and offered me a full refund, which is impressive in today's world where most of the items purchased on the internet have only a 30-day warranty...

Good but cheap
Good product but the metal arm broke the first time I extended it to get a ball, it was still usable but disappointing. Other than that though I recommend.

Get it
Extremely sturdy. Best compact ball retriever I have ever had. And I started using the compact version soon after they came out!

Great for the price.
So far it has worked as advertised, I clean it off after use and it fits nicely in the side pocket of my golf bag.

If you Suck at Golf this will get you your money back!
Great ball retriever. I have already got my money back from lost water balls (I suck at golf). Very easy to use and easy to store in your bag.
