The ash blonde was a little too ashy and kept fading to gray after a couple washes, so I switched to golden blonde. It turned my hair copper. I had ZERO warm tones to begin with. If you have bleached hair, STAY AWAY from golden blonde unless you want to be a redhead.

That color is definitely in the golden family. My hair was an 8 n in Revlon products. I was hoping for a product that would put a blonde tint to the white strands of my greying hair. This was not that product. There was no color adherence to the white strands. The color adhered only to my previously colored hair. My hair did come out very soft, shiny and smells amazing. I will purchase the clear product for future use.

My hair was light blonde and the 8g turned my hair copper. Luckily it’s been easier to fade it. Only giving 2 stars because it did moisturize nicely.

Used 8G golden blonde and it was a bit more amber than expected. The product smelled amazing. I didn’t use gloves so there was a bit of a yellow tone left on my hands but nothing terrible. I have waist length hair and one container was surprisingly enough to fully saturate my hair. I was expecting it to be a bit more moisturizing than it was. I had to use lots of leave in conditioner after which surprised me. Overall think it was a decent product for under 30 dollars, but wouldn’t buy again. Update: After a few days of it being more “lived in” and using a lavender blonde toning conditioner the warmth is much more honey colored now. (Last picture, natural light). Love it much more and will likely keep using for low maintenance this summer.

Leaves a silky strong finish, exactly as I expected

Wasn’t satisfied at all. I used it to color my hair thinking it would come out good! Not even it left my hair bleached and did not stick to it at all. Thankfully I had something as a backup color.

I tried the XMONDO Golden Blonde Color Depositing Mask because I wanted to add some warmth and shine back into my blonde without committing to a full dye job (and I love Brad Mondo!), and it definitely delivered on the gloss and softness. The formula feels rich and creamy, almost like a deep conditioner, and it has a clean, pleasant scent that isn’t overpowering. My hair felt noticeably smoother and healthier after rinsing it out, and the shine was the first thing I noticed once it dried. The color payoff is strong, so even though it’s a semi-permanent gloss, it really grabs onto the hair, especially if your hair is lightened or a bit porous. On my lighter pieces, it added a golden tone and made everything look warmer overall. I’d recommend applying carefully and taking your time, because even distribution makes a big difference with this product. Using a wide-tooth comb helped me avoid patchy areas. Even though Brad says you don't need gloves for this stuff... definitely wear gloves because it will stain your hands. One thing to note is that this shade is genuinely golden. If your goal is more of an icy or ash blonde, this won’t give that; it leans warm, and depending on your starting point, you may see more of a deeper or slightly bronzy tone. It doesn’t lighten dark roots either, so it’s best for toning and refreshing what you already have. My biggest complaint is the packaging. Dipping your hands back into the tub while colouring your hair feels messy, and I ended up using a spatula to avoid contaminating the rest of the product. The price is also on the higher end for a semi-permanent gloss, especially if you plan to use it regularly. I have long hair, so I was only able to use this about three times before I ran out. Although I am happy with the results, it seems a bit steep, price-wise, for only that amount. Overall, though, the results were very soft, shiny, and much more vibrant than before. If you’re looking to revive blonde hair with warmth and gloss while giving your strands a nourishing treatment at the same time, this mask is a really nice option!

Obviously every head of hair is different and everyone's experience will be different. There are so many things that go into whether or not you find this or any other product satisfactory. I will start by saying the color is rich and natural and my hair was incredibly soft and shiny after use. The smell is amazing! Since you are applying this on dry hair, it is important to make sure the product is distributed evenly if you want to get an even result. I think where some people are having issues is the porosity of their hair. Any time you are applying a color product on extremely porous hair it can affect the outcome greatly. If you have bleached your hair repeatedly, or very light, it is likely highly porous. In this case it is even more important to get a thorough overall application. Since this is a conditioning treatment, combing it through is easy and recommended. Also, make sure that gold tones are what you want to add to your hair. There is also a level 8 ash shade if you want something less golden. Personally I may try that one next as I prefer the ash tones on myself versus the golden tones, even though my skin undertone is fairly neutral. I took my time applying the product, first massaging it in with my hands, then using a wide tooth comb, and a more medium tooth comb to ensure that all my hair strands were coated. If you're going to use a finer tooth comb, or even a wide tooth comb, ensure that any product that comes off with the comb gets redistributed into your hair. Also, if you've been bleaching your hair, likely your ends are more porous than the mids or the roots would likely be. In this case, what I did was I applied the product heavier on the top of my hair (mids and roots) and then distributed a lighter amount of the product on my more porous ends. Just remember to apply your basic color theory before choosing which shade you want to apply to your hair. Whatever is the current tone/color of your hair color will affect the result you get. Just like with any color product. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ = I love it and/or it meets or exceeds claims. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ = Hey, this is pretty great. Meets claims, but may be slightly lacking in non-critical area. ⭐⭐⭐ = Meh. It's okay but I don't love it. Someone might like it. Falls short in a more noticeable area or not for everyone. ⭐⭐ = Not great. Best to avoid. Very noticeable shortcomings or issues. ⭐ = Nope. This semi-permanent dye by Brad Mondo smells amazing! It’s not an overpowering scent in any way, but it’s not your typical hair dye smell. It worked more like a hair mask for my hair, as my hair is on the darker side of the spectrum, so the colour payoff wasn't the best. The first thing I noticed when rinsing my hair was how soft and glossy it was. My hair felt amazing and nourished. It was one of the best hair masks I have used. I have longer hair, and I used quite a bit of this product to ensure consistent colouring. Definitely use a wide tooth comb to ensure the colour and mask are evenly distributed. You must wear gloves when using this product, as it will stain your hands, and make sure to wipe off any product from your skin, as it will stain. If you get this product on your counter or anything else, make sure to wipe it off so it won't stain. The colour payoff on my already lightened hair was good, but this is definitely a more brass/golden blonde colour. If you are looking for a white blonde or ash blonde, this isn't the colour for you. This is definitely a nice mask and option to refresh what you have, but not to change your hair colour. I didn't love the tube style and dipping my hand into it repeatedly. I prefer to use a bottle, but that's a personal preference. I found it hard to wear gloves, section my hair, and brush it, etc., as I liked to take the gloves off before touching my hair that didn't have the dye on it. It added extra steps and was a bigger hassle.
