The cubes are great. Suggest to use filtered water.

difficult to remove the ice cubes however it does make almost clear blocks of ice.

I got this for my dad after we attended a cocktail making class together, and our instructor used one of these ice cub molds.The size of the ice cube is great to put in a rocks glass for an old fashioned or plain "on the rocks" drink. The mold was relatively easy to get the cube out of.The ice cub doesn't come out clear by using regular water and letting it freeze, but I think there's an at home method of purifying water to make clear cubes that I'm going to experiment with this tray.We also tried freezing water halfway up the tray, adding a bit of orange peel and rosemary, and them filling up the rest with water and freezing again. This made a great garnish ice cube, so this tray is going to be used when I host my next dinner party; it's an easy way to impress guests.

Durable, sturdy, and pops out easily.

It's a good size for cubes but it's pretty hard to get them out of the tray. I had to add cold water and try to maneuver it into the sides of the cubes, flip the tray on a plate, then try to squeeze each one out. It was tough but nice size of cubes.

These molds tear easily and leave behind small pieces of silicone on The bottom of ice. Cannot recommend.

I've made dozens of cubes at this point and this is the best tray out there. There is no smell, no powder or residue like seems to be an issue with other trays. Also fairly easy to remove the cubes from the mold. If you have any issues just run water under the tray for a minute. And if you want Crystal clear cubes just boil / nuke filtered water, let the water return to room temperature, and freeze.

Love this ice tray, really great for making old fashion drinks. Ice comes out quite easily
