Fired Up! Selling TM: Great Quotes To Inspire, Energize, Succeed

This is an EXTREMELY cool book of motivational quotes that I highly recommend for three reasons:1) These aren't the same 50 quotes you've read over and over again; you will be delighted with every turn of page.2) The design is gorgeous. Seriously - don't skip the hardcover and go straight to the digital copy.3) It makes a great gift of thanks and encouragement to others.I will say, too, I don't think it's strictly a book for sellers... it's ideal for anyone in marketing, management, entrepreneurship, education, or anyone who appreciates a well-curated book of unusual-but-spot-on motivational quotes.(While I have never met the author/editor, I am familiar with him, but I paid full price for this book and was not asked to recommend it. I just think it's that good.)

I gave a copy to a friend and he was so inspired and thought so highly of the book he passed it on to a person struggling with life. That person used the quotes on a daily basis to leave the negative behind and jump start their day. They in turn have payed the book forward to a relative stuck in a rut and after reading the book found the inspiration to start writing again. Throw all your self help books, you only need this one for inspiration, advice, and motivation.

Books like these become references, not read-throughs. A read-through is a temporal journey which lands in a single feeling and place on the shelf. Rarely to come down again. This work is an anthology of feelings. A reference to many powerful ideas. It is whisky. A powerful distillation from many grains. It's meant to be the kickstarter. The daily fire. The lift out of the fog. It needs to be open and shut regularly. You would do well to add it to your travel bag.

When you are in sales (and aren't we all), sometimes you need a little shot in the arm. This book is your encouragement, your motivational whisperer to go out and do what it takes to be successful. I was one of the quote judges and was very pleased to see how the book ended up when published. It's a simple inspirational collection that can ge referred to endlessly when in need of a quick pithy pick-me-up. I bought one for all 20 members of my sales team. They loved the gesture and I see the book on everyone's desk or book case.

This book is not what it appears. It will put gas in your tank every morning. It’s become a daily reader for me. It may have selling in the name, but it’s so much more than a sales book. A few minutes in Fired Up! and you’re going to have a better day—and so will everyone around you. That seems like a solid sale to me.

I had the chance to meet the author some years ago. He was wickedly smart then...but this book is awesome for people who want to change the world, their business, their family...for the better. It really helps you go beyond the negative energy that may be around you. Thank for Ray for sharing!
