I had some patent leather FitFlops that I loved. However, I was careless and walked on wet grass etc and eventually the y became very damaged on the sides. I don't believe they are actually patent leather but a faux leather. A lot of the patent leather was rubbed off, so I had to fill them. It did a good job but I do have a recommendation that the company provide a curved plastic tool as well as a straight edge they do provide. This would make the repair smoother on a curved area, less sanding. Using the patent Magic Ultra over the filler created a nice finish. Not perfect, if I had a better tool, maybe a smoother finish. It's still good. As for durability, that remains to be seen.

Works great, but be sure to apply to small sections at a time. It dries quickly.

So I have tried leather repair pastes before, and the last one I tried was useless goop that didn't fill anything. So I was unsure if this was going to be any better. Thankfully I found this stuff to be a little more useful. It does fill patches though you may need to do a few layers to get it right. However this stuff is pretty fast drying once applied, so it's not too hard to do that. Although if the leather you're working on isn't white, you may need some paint or something to color match
