Camping and Woodcraft

This book has plenty of useful information. It actually saved our camping trip the other night when we couldn’t find dry tinder. The pages of this book burned extremely well in order to get our fire going for both dinner and breakfast.

For a 1939 edition I am amazed at the quality of the book. Also from a personal library of a famous radio writer. I really enjoy the book. Thankyou better world books!

A little archaic but good.

Very interesting old manual for outdoor living that is still pertinent in todays day

I think the book is fascinating and wanted to spend time reading it. But you can tell from the size of it compared to my hand how small it is and I have small hands. Also the print is blurry. The photo makes it look sharper than it really is.

A must have for any Outdoors person

I have had this book in my library for many years. I have now purchased an extra copy for my son. Even though it already is about a century old, much of the information contained in it is still extremely valuable today for campers and hikers. My friends call it 'the log cabin bible'.
