I haven't inflated it yet, but it seems to be well made. Large flag for good visibility. It could use a pump to blow it up.

I used this when shore diving at a local lake. The stability was good using the recommended weight (not included). I liked having the compartment in the center for extra dive gear (additional weight, mask defogger, etc.) so I didn’t have to carry it on me or swim back to shore for it. It was easy to set up and put away and provided clear indication to others of divers being present (high visibility). The finger reel was an added bonus. I’d recommend it.

For the price you get a Decent dive float, flag is easy to attach and assembly is under 2 minutes. If the plastic yellow float was thicker I would give it 5 stars.

Used this flag a few times and it’s been okay. Used it today on a breezy day and strongish current and the float was dragging me around. I prefer to decide where I’m going rather than let my flag decide. Will probably switch to a low profile styrofoam float/flag.

Love that it stays upright, doesnt tip over. My only complaint is that its short. Seems like the pole needs to be taller and a bit more erect. Leans a bit, and flag is hard to see in waves, as its not tall enough.

Float: Works great considering the price point. Please make sure you 100% fill the bottom with all the water that will fit into it (use a bottle of water or something to make sure it's full) or it won't float straight up and down. Either that or attach a 1.5lb weight to the ring on the bottom.Reel: It would be nice if the reel was a little larger, because you have to be very deliberate to hook the snap into an opening. After two dives we just cut off about 20 feet of line so the holes were more accessible.I recommend buying a 2nd hook so you can have the one that comes with it attached to the float, then another hooked to the reel with the line trapped in it) and have it attached to a D-ring on your BC (using something like a lighter 10-lb test fishing line loop so it can break away if need be) so you can have both hands free once you're at a level depth.

Very easy to store, use, and deploy. Would be great it it was a bit larger and it feels a touch expensive for what it is, but it serves its purpose and I’m satisfied overall.

Love the river down flag. It’s only downfall is all dive places near my house require a 3 foot flag. Not the products fault. It is a great flag that stays upright very well but I recommend checking your local laws and dive shops for dive flag requirements
