XCH Concealed Carry OWB Holster for Smith & Wesson M&P Compact, M&P Shield

Nice fit. I like the design of the snap and that one can put the belt either on top or behind the holster. I also like the design that makes the pistol ride higher than the regular holster. Better concealment. A little saddle soap inside and the pistol "glides" out of the holster when needed. Except for the snap. It drags along the pistol and leaves a scratch mark when I pull it out of the holster.. There must be some way to solve this. Don't want to cut the leather without restitching. To echo another feedback, it takes a little longer to get because it comes from Russia. Well worth the wait. It was still under a month. However, you get some cool Russian stamps for souvenirs.

This holster ships from Russia. It is a nice holster with a soft green leather lining to protect the gun. It fits my MP Shield 9 perfectly. I an very happy with this purchase.The price is much less than I am used to paying for a leather holster of this quality. I previously bought a holster from this company for my Bersa Thunder 380. The quality was impressive and It fit my gun fine, but the snap for the thumb break was put in the wrong place. So, I drilled it out and removed the snap so that I could use the holster... It was a bit of a gamble to buy another holster from this vendor, but the gamble paid off.

Took a while to break in, it is initially a VERY tight fit, but over a few days is fine. The snap is in a awkward place for closing, but great for quick release. The belt loops are quite tight... I wear 1¾ inch belt and it's still difficult sliding it on my belt. Overall though this is a great OWB holster, very secure and comfortable.

fits like a glove and well made. The bottun is a little stiff--but it will wear in. I recommend leaving your gun in it and working the leather with a little bit of good leather oil/cleaner to loosen it up a bit. Pretty happy with the quality and price

Very nice real leather, needs a little breaking in. Wraps around my lateral right side of hip and conceals well. It's comfortable sitting down with it and it does not rob on my skin. Thank God it's made in Russia (not China).=)

This holster is made very well and fits great. If I knew of other Handgun make/models this manufacturer makes holsters for then I would buy them also. The only issue is that you have to go to the post office to sign for it because it comes from overseas.G.

I expected more, too thin and flimsy for my liking. I like my Kydex because it holds my 45 close to my side and no snaps to fool with.

This holster fits the gun so tightly, it’s very difficult to draw the weapon. Also, the snap is very difficult to close when the weapon is holstered. While it is comfortable to wear, it is useless if you need to draw weapon quickly. I would suggest considering other options. Decided to return item. It's far too dangerous to try to pull the weapon if needed in an emergency.
