What is the warranty period? Amazon does not have a Standard warranty period, so what time frame does the seller support?

The warranty is 1 year. You must extract the pump from the well and send it in. In my case they offered to send me a starting capacitor. 25 days and counting for the capacitor. Essentially the warranty isn't much good. They are very slow to respond.

Help on how to wire the pump, mine came with a control box with a 110 cord. pump has 4 wires 3 + ground I need 220 to pump 260 feet

This pump is a so-called 2 wire (total 3 wires with a ground). Make sure the ground (marked 'PE') wire connected with the ground, the other 2 wires are hot. If you have our old version of 4 wire with a control box, the control box has a cable plug which looks like a 110 plug, but it is a 230V and must be connect with 230V. The wiring diagram should be on the control box cover. Thanks,

Could this pump be disassembled into two pieces to fit in an airline luggage check on?

Yes it can. Simply remove the cable shield bar and stainless steel screen in the middle, then remove the 4 nuts between the pump head and motor. Thank you.

This pump does not need a control box. If you use it with your old control box, the pump will NOT work.
