I used to buy a different brand of a peanut butter bone and my dog loves them, but they are not very durable and they are very expensive. Plus you only get three bones. For only a few dollars more I can buy a pack of 10 of durable peanut butter bones that keep my 60 pound boy busy for a bit longer. He obviously loves them. They are made by Purina who I trust I feed dogs and cats, Purina pro and Purina one so this was a natural thing to try and I’m glad I did. He loves the ones with the begging strips but he also loves the plain He doesn’t leave a crumb behind. He is pretty cute when he takes it. He goes over to his bed with his treasure. It smells like peanut butter no bad smells. They are very hard. I tried to snap one in half but it’s not possible for me. They are nice and thick just the right size for my 14-year-old boy. .

This is the only two treat I’ve ever found that is indestructible. I have two Belgian Malinois and a German Shepherd and they are still chewing on them after 40 minutes and they have a long way to go.

My dogs, 35-52 lbs each, can chew one of these in less than 15min. They seem to be tasty, but not good enough to ignore being separated from house mates during dog training. There are higher level distraction chews that do cause ignoring of housemates during training. However, these Busy Bones are good for teeth cleaning and short term group distraction or a quiet evening reward. The dogs eating these are well trained in obedience, agility and scent detection and are a Border Collie mix, Australian Cattle Dog and an Australian Kelpie. They are very busy and deserve a "Busy" treat. Other dogs in my training classes are slower to chew & consume these treats.

My 13 year old dog is a heavy chewer and these Purina busy bones last longer than any other bone I've given him and I have tried many. They keep him out of "trouble" for awhile, they last much longer than any other brand I've tried. Just dont try to take it away from him! He gets upset! Lol He loves the taste of them and goes thru a bag within no time. Definitely a good buy for dogs that are heavy chewers. Update: if your dog has issues with weight. These have a very high caloric content. My dog loves these, and they last a long time and clean teeth well, but he has put on a significant amount of weight since I have been feeding him these along with regular food. Be careful counting those calories, especially if your pup is a foodie!
