GEA Styrian Pumpkin Seed Oil - (500 ml) 100% Natural Gluten-free Virgin Pumpkin Seed Oil for Salad

I’m from Austria and found that this oil is pretty authentic to the real oil that one gets to buy at the local farmers in Styria which has a little green hue. Like one customer had suggested that it’s from Slovenia not Styria. Slovenia has prime organic farming and has good wine’s and organic cold pressed Olive oil. it’s located south and not far away from Styria. Always buy smaller quantities and store it in a dark cool place like a kitchen pantry, because the oil will loose its flavor over time if it’s stored incorrectly or not used often.I did have issues with the packaging send out by Amazon- it’s not wrapped in bubble wrap or in paper and the bottle heats up in the delivery van which is not good for cold pressed oil! I did reach out to customer service about the issue and got a refund for my first order! I went ahead and ordered it again and the oil arrived in the box the same way, but this time it was delivered in the morning and it wasn’t heated up. I wish that Amazon would instruct on how to package cold pressed oil correctly!

It is very good, high quality oil

I saw someone on line talking about Pumpkin Seed Oil and it sounded interesting. I used just a tiny bit on my salad, along with some white balsamic vinegar. It was excellent. It is very flavorful, so start with just a tiny drizzle, that's all you need.

Just like the original Austrian pumpkinseed oil, roasted with a greenish golden hue, not overpowering and nice to add to salads. Exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommend this product. Not only does it taste good, it comes in a nice glass bottle which is green in color and helps preserve the quality of the oil. If it's too thick I simply use olive, grapeseed, avocado or vegetable oil to thin it out. Putting it in the refrigerator may be tough as it has a tendency to thicken up naturally. Very satisfied with this purchase and will buy again!

I always use the Styrian pumpkin seed oil for salads and a spoon in the morning raw. Tastes good and like the product. The original product has a tangy flavor which is lacking here. But, no gripes here.. Will order more..

What surprised me the most about this pumpkin seed oil was the very dark, almost black color. It also has a very toasty flavor and aroma, almost as if the seeds were roasted beforehand. I regularly buy another pumpkin seed oil that has a greener color and tastes much more like typical pumpkin seeds.This one tastes very different - deeper, smokier, and more roasted. It’s hard to describe exactly, but it definitely stands out compared to other pumpkin oils I’ve tried.Another issue was the bottle cap. It was extremely difficult to open, and I actually had to use a knife to help loosen it. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever struggled this much opening a bottle of oil before.

I put this in salads it has a wonderful taste and smell. Very hard to find.

This is only for oil connoisseurs. It's expensive but made me oh so happy and I feel money well spent.

I like the quality but the price is oretty steep but options are pretty limited if you want Styrian Pumpkin Seed oil.
