South Shore Small 2-Door Storage Cabinet with Adjustable Shelf, Royal Cherry

Arrived quickly. Damaged in transit. Not the fault of the seller. Contacted them concerning the damage to the top panel and they sent a replacement. Easy to assemble. Quality is better than expected. Pressed wood with laminate so don’t expect solid wood quality but still sturdy and looks really good. Saw some complaints about aligning the doors issues, but I had no problems. I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice product at a great price. Thrilled with the amazing customer service.

Cabinet is very nice , space saving and easy to assembly.

I ordered this cabinet to house my cricut/ cricut accessories in my home office and let me tell you it's wonderful. Assembly: Ive put together probably 100 pieces of furniture in my day and this was is definitely on the easier side. I will say if you've never put together ship flat furniture like this there are a couple tricky steps. There's a few points where they don't tell you exactly what screws or dowels you need but they show it in the picture. It is very intuitive to figure out with what pieces you're given. The pieces are also a little heavy so having a second person could help. I did it by myself in about an hour and could've done it in half the time with my husband helping. Sturdiness: the cabinet is very professional looking and pretty heavy duty. The heavy pieces make it very durable. The only con I had was the plastic pieces for the shelf to lay on. It would've been better if they had been metal but so far I haven't had any issues with the plastic pieces. Arrival: In the pictures you can see some of the pieces came scuffed up and scratched. When looking at it from far away you don't really notice it but once you know its there its noticeable. The cabinet came with a matching color marker which helped me to cover up some of the scuffs. Overall this is a great professional looking cabinet that I would recommend for any office. It seems like it's going to hold up for a while and looks very sleek. Definitely a great cabinet for the price

I am surprised by some of the negative reviews. Not my experience. This came well packed and even UPS could not damage it even though they dropped it on one corner. It assembled easily (except for my mistakes) and feels sturdy. I am very happy with it for the price. EXCEPT: I wish I had known the internal useful dimensions before I bought it. It is a bit smaller internally than I had hoped for. * Doors open to allow full width access and are entirely in front of the cavity. * 18 inches from back wall to front edge of floor * 31.5 inches wide * close to 28 inches floor to underside of top BUT, only just close to 26 inches floor to top of front opening. That is where my problem arose. I can't blame the cabinet. It is the fault of the one who created the listing. No easy way to learn such things before purchasing. I DO wish they had taken the time to put 1 or 2 dowels in the top and bottom trim pieces so they could not flex in the middle. They just have dowel pins on their ends. Would have cost virtually nothing with almost no effect on assembly . Furniture manufactures ignore this issue all the time so no surprise. Narrower pieces of particle board are just very weak sideways. Weak enough you can easily break them during assembly if not careful. I added a wood blocker where I wanted one. 2 things to be aware of. I did a bozo move. When I first put the back on, I did it with the finished side out. I think I was smitten to make it match all the finished sides I was looking at. Should have tried thinking. The instructions should point out what should be obvious but do not. The FINISHED SIDE goes inward. It can be difficult to hold the doors in position when trying to attach them to the cabinet with it upright as they illustrate. BUT, it is easy peasy if you first lay the cabinet on its side you want to put the door on. Then the door can just lie on the floor and you don't have to do much to hold the door in place and you can align and bear down on the hinge screws easily. They did include some extra assembly items. I got some extra small dowels and shelf supports and nails and screws. I preferred better foot pads so used heavy duty 3/4" round stick-on pads.

I bought 2 of these initially. They were easy for me to put together by myself. They are sturdy and look great! One of them came with a dent in the top piece. I emailed the company with a picture of the defect and they immediately shipped me a new piece with no questions or hassle. I then ordered two more and love them all. Great purchase. I would highly recommend.

It serves the purpose I purchased it for, but it was very poorly designed (you'd be way better off ordering from IKEA). There's a decorative trim strip under the front lip - two of the three screws stripped out their holes so be extremely careful tightening the screws - anything past "snug" will strip the screw hole out. The doors are so poorly aligned you have to close them at the same time or be ok with one door closing and the other door just kind of doing its own thing. There are "adjustable" hinges, but they adjust in the wrong directions, so no luck there. The interior shelf was bowed right out of the box - thankfully it's an inside piece so I don't have to stare at it. The top won't hold anything heavy without also bowing - so think house plant, candle, a few books, or a very small printer. For the price, I almost packed it up and sent it back, but it lives in a closet so I don't have to feel ashamed every time I look at it and realize I spent money on such a piece of junk.

Very sturdy

The cabinet looks good after assembling but the instructions are not clear to assemble it properly. The parts to be assembled are to be packed with more care by including additional packing sheets between each wooden parts to avoud scratches. The final assembled cabinet looks good but the cost of the product is on the higher side.

This product was very simple to assemble. All hardware parts, even a few extras. Very accurate assembly and good quality. Painted and finished surfaces are very good. Only complaint was a strong odor of wood based products which disappears after a couple weeks.

J'ai acheté deux de ces armoires. Dans l'une d'elles, il manquait les vices pour les poignées. L'autre était complète. Si non très beau produit.

The units themselves are exactly as shown. The doors are slightly off center and im sure with a little hinge adjustment they will be perfect. The real winner here is the companies GREAT customer service! One piece was missing and another in duplicate and within a week we had a replacement piece delivered at no cost. A piece was also damaged during assembly (our fault) and they sent a replacement of that piece as well! 100% would buy from this retailer again.
