This is first time used frosting, bit worried of fitment and light blockage for any window I used it on. Did not need to worry, Purlfrost supplied a handy fitting tool and application instructions were easy to follow with handy straight lines drawn onto the frosting to help cutting. Light still streams through window and gives privacy without darkness, well worth the purchase.

Bought this as my front room is quite dark and I wanted as much light as possible The item arrived very quickly and instructions were easy to use and i had done both windows (which are pretty big) in an hour or so. I trimmed the edges with a CD and stanley knife and I have, to say, it looks very pro and classy now in place. In hindsight, I wish I had ordered the less frosted stuff (offered on Purlfrost's website) as this stuff is quite heavily frosted and you literally can't see a thing through it!!

Too complicated to use

A really good product that has brought a window back to life and completely changed the light in our bathroom.

I've used this window film twice now. Once its up, it looks really nice. But if you haven't used it before I would suggest buying plenty of it. The first time I used it was for my caravan door. It wasn't big enough to do in one go so I had to do it in two pieces. The 1st one went up fine. The 2nd piece not so much. I couldn't peel the film away from the backing so ended up having to buy more. And the £5 off voucher doesn't work by the way. I finally finished it and it looks really nice now. Does the job, still lets light in but you cant see through it from outside. I would recommend this product but with a tip - be very careful not to get anything wet until you've managed to peel the film away from the backing. And make sure your windows are spotless before you put it up.

I am not usually driven to leave product reviews but in this instance I felt I should as I could not be more happy. We purchased this as needed to get some privacy in our hall without losing too much light and curtains/ blinds would not have looked right. This is perfect. It looks great and was very straightforward to put in place. very easy to apply just follow instructions , maybe left with a few bubbles when wet but once dry bubbles disappear as it adheres to surface, would recommend cutting a couple of mm less than required in order to remove bubbles and excess water. Do not over wet

Very pleased, was easy to apply after fully reading instructions. Looks great and does just the job I wanted it to do ... good value for money
