6 Pcs Grid Isolate Board Divider Fish Tank Bottom Black Filter Tray Aquarium Crate

I bought this to form a base layer over the glass bottom of my aquarium so that when I placed stones on it the weight wouldn't eventually crack the glass and so that plant roots could have a refuge against digging fish.It's very easy to cut using a pair of warhammer plastic cutters, scissors or any other medium you may want to use to size. The jigsaw fittings I didn't want (they'd be more useful for miniatures and terrain building), so I trimmed those off as well and placed these side by side in straight lines.Looking back, I should have bought more and used them to build little hills to form a more solid basis for the higher areas of planted soil as these are excellent little retaining structures that are very easily glued together using aquarium safe silicone or zip tied depending on preference. Once filled in with soil they've done an excellent job of preventing digging fish from completely removing soil and plants (after letting the plants establish themselves a little) from where they're placed.Should I ever rescape the tank, or scape another, I intend to use these again to build up height without adding a lot of weight and for keeping the weight of stones spread out instead of concentrated on the glass (reducing the risk of cracks!).

I bought these to put on the bottom of my tanks so that large rocks used as hardscape would not be in direct contact with the bottom glass as this can cause scratching and cracking. They are useful for that purpose and I found them quite easy to cut with a pair of secateurs. Can recommend. A bit expensive for what they are, in my opinion, but are the best option for the job.

Used to make a crate for my filter media. Great quality but easy to cut.If you were trying to use the tabs to connect the the grid together, forget it they don’t connect.. fortunately I didn’t need to.( zip ties )

I have one of those air flow FREEZERS, and if you cover the vents inside the freezer with foods, it stops working and everything defrosts!Not good at all. The only suggestion the manufacturers have is to not fill your freezer so much and monitor the placement of foods so they don't cover the vents - well I haven't got time for that and who doesn't overfill their freezer, especially recently!I fitted these GRIDS in the back of the freezer with a little foam so they actually don't touch the back wall, and they stop packages covering the vents and allow the air to circulate freely - problem solved.Cheap fix. and a little brilliant even if I say so myself, lol.

The pieces are okay,but do not come with suction clips.1cm hole not small enough for guppies

I cant really say if these fish tank filter/ gravel plates are any good for their intended purpose as i didn't get them for putting in a fish tank. I can say that these under-gravel filters are perfect for making walkways for 28mm wargames terrain. I used these as part of a large Necromunda terrain board and these under-gravel filters are perfect (once painted|) for making connected walkways around small buildings in a 28mm or hero scale. To other wargamers or people who make terrain or dioramas for D&D, 40k etc these work perfectly. No idea on fish tanks.

easy to use. Not easy to connect but with cable ties it’s simple. I’m going to have some happy turtles.

I used these to line the bottom of my nano tank to place rocks on and fix redmoor wood to with cable ties and super glue then coverd in aqua soil now my scape stays in place and rocks wait is evenly spread over the base not in one point.

Fácil montaje y que te entendía que tener un poquito más de altura

Material ist gut und stabil. Leider sind für das Geld keine Halterungen dabei um die Trennwand zu fixieren. Passgenauigkeit ist ok muss man aber leicht anpassen.

Ho preso 6 griglie da assembrare, le prime 4 non ho avuto problemi, le altre 2 avevano gli agganci troppo piccoli e non si univano alle restanti, ho dovuto rompere gli attacca e unirli con la colla. Resta il fatto che per il prezzo proposto non possono essere così fatte male
