Been looking for a charging solution for my Meta Ray-Ban for a while, bought a charging cable from Etsy, see pic for compare. The one from Etsy is 3-D printed, looks very unpolished. This one is much more discreet and cord is much thinner. I managed to wear it with the cable on for a week and nobody noticed.The only thing I wish is there is no logo up in the front, and the USB-C cord is just 2 inches longer.

The way this is built really makes it fragile when trying to insert it to your glasses. I didn't even have a chance to use it at all as it snapped right off once i tried to fit it on my 4006 meta ray ban glasses for the first time. I was able to get it to charge a little bit but without that front plate holding onto the glasses it won't charge too well. There are better build quality meta glasses charger out there and unfortunately this is not it. Luckily this is not my first charging cable so i can compare the build quality and this one is just too fragile. Even if it wasn't snapped, the wires don't really have protection on the bending points which over time it can start to pull off or rip.

When attempting to connect the first time, the housing fell a part. A dab of glue possibly could have fixed. However, for the price, I don’t think me having to keep gluing it is a fair price. I did end up returning it.

The device works as intended and does charge even when the glasses are on your face. It could potentially make your glasses last all day depending on your power supply/battery. However I don't know how it would affect the battery in the long run since you'd constantly charging and draining the battery at all times...It fit on my RW4008's. This can be usefully when you don'y want to lug around the charging case for the day. It's a little finicky to get on your glasses the first couple of times but after a while you'll learn how to get it on easily. It's very inconspicuous and when it's on my glasses while on my face it reminds me of wired earbud days. And similar to those days you'll have to be cognizant of the cord and be carful around doorknobs and anything else that can potentially catch the cord while you walk by. Either that or you can run the cord under your shirt. The cable management clips are useful (and necessary) for routing the cable to behind your ears. The cord is very thin which makes me nervous that one accidental cable catch could potentially break it but I guess it's a trade-off since a thicker cable would be more noticeable and heavier.One thing I don't like is that they have their logo on the piece that goes over the bridge of your glasses. No offense but I don't want to rep a random unrecognizable company when wearing these (let alone any name brand too). I have the shiny black version of the glasses, but the plastic on the charger seems to be more matte so if you have the matte black version it would probably be even harder to notice it. You milage may vary based on your face/nose shape, but I didn't notice it touching my nose.

I love my meta glasses and I love the fact that I can listen to music and drown out people I don't want to hear... Problem 1 is that i have a prescription and 2 the battery life on these is horrendous..... ENTER THE CHARGING CABLE.... I didn't know this existed tbh but I had been thinking it need to haha. With this cable i no longer have to worry about my usage as i can just plug it in and put the glasses back on while they charge quickly. Its a total gamechanger for these glasses and a MUST HAVE!!! I love that it eventually charges from the usb c on my iPhone port but it is picky about doing so (probably an apple issue) and does so very quickly! BUY THIS DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!

Easy to use and work great, great design and great quality materials, reasonable price.
