Tracfone - Bring Your Own Phone GSM 3-in-1 Sim Card Kit (4G LTE) -at&T Compatible

This will work on my unlocked iPhone 6. Tried one that only came with one card and it wouldn’t work. BUT this one came with THREE different cards and it actually worked. No problem at all!!!!

Bought this kit to use an AT&T phone with Tracfone. Had a problem that Tracfone customer service was not able to solve. Called the vendor of the SIM kit, Paul Hickey, who understood the problem and suggested several ways of resolving it. Nice to deal with someone who really knows ins and outs of the technology. The problem was successfully solved.

It would have been nice if the seller had disclosed that this was repackaged. However, in the end, that doesn't matter much. The SIM activated fine on the Tracfone network and works with both voice and data as advertised.

As a Tracfone customer since 2009, I had plenty of experience with this company. In 2021, Verizon acquisition of Tracfone, Safelink and StraightTalk as well as a couple of other related MVNOs. Tracfone used to offer service plans with all three major cellular carriers, AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile. But after the Verizon purchase, Tracfone will only activate Verizon SIM cards upto 6/30/2022 because, you know, the other companies are now the competition. After June 30, 2022 they will no longer activate t-mobile and at&t SIMS. So this means Tracfone customers have less options now that Verizon has acquired these companies. As far as I know, this is a problem for new SIM card activations and might not affect customers already on AT&T and T-Mobile, for now anyway. For those who don't know what an MVNO is, it stands for Mobile Virtual Network Operator. In the United States, we only have three major providers. AT&T Verizon and T-Mobile. Every other cellular provider you might have heard of are resellers of service from these three giants. Allvoi Wireless, Beast Mobile, Best Cellular, Boom! Mobile, Boost Mobile, Boss Wireless, Consumer Cellular, Dataxoom, EarthLink Mobile, Gen Mobile, Good2GO Mobile, Google Fi, GoSmart Mobile, Hello Mobile, i3 Mobile, Karma Mobility, Kroger Wireless, Lycamobile Mango Mobile, Metro By T-Mobile, Mint Mobile, Net10, Optimum Mobile, Patriot Mobile, Project Genesis, Reach Mobile, Red Pocket Mobile, Simple Mobile, SpeedTalk Mobile, Straight Talk, T-Mobile, Tello, TextNow, Ting Mobile, Tracfone, Ultra Mobile, UNREAL Mobile, US Mobile, Walmart Family Mobile Wing. There are many more, but you get the drift by now. So why did I mention all of the above? You will find newer SIM kits from Tracfone with a single SIM card for the Verizon network. These older 3-in-1 SIM kits are worthless for AT&T and T-Mobile because Tracfone, Straight Talk, Safelink and related companies are no longer activating SIM cards for those other competing companies. So why pay more for a 3-in-1 when you can get the newer Tracfone Verizon SIMs for 1/5 of the price. Don't over pay because Tracfone will only activate the Verizon SIM card in this kit and you might end up paying five times as much. I confirmed this with Tracfone Technical Support as I purchased a new phone that has a compatibility problem with Tracfone Verizon. Technical support told me I was out of luck with getting the phone on T-Mobile or AT&T and I would need a new phone to use their Tracfone Verizon until they know how to provision the new phones on their network. But the phone I wanted to activate was a brand new phone! I had opened the factory sealed box an hour earlier and its a 2022 flagship phone. They did not have a firm date when they would be able to provision the phone and it could be months. Not acceptable to be without cell phone service for months. If you are a new potential customer, make sure your geographical area is well covered by Verizon if you plan to use Tracfone, Safelink, StraightTalk. If you need T-Mobile or AT&T, I highly recommend looking for another compatible MVNO company with those services. I cannot understand why the FCC allowed Verizon to purchase these companies and leave customers with less choices. But the FCC made many bad choices for consumers in the last 10 years so no surprise.

Order this to activate a 2nd hand moto G5 Pius (received free), card was easy to install and after that I followed the steps to activate and transfer my old phone number, all take less than 10 minutes and the airtime of my old phone was transferred to the new one. I’m happy with the purchase.

My Motorola G7 phone didn't come with a SIM so I ordered the Tracfone 3-in-1 SIM card kit. I am using Safelink and they use the Verizon carrier. I didn't know this and tried the T-mobile and AT&T SIMs. I'm glad this kit comes with 3 because I needed the Verizon SIM for my phone to work. Each SIM comes in 3 sizes - normal, micro and Nano. Tech support for Safelink is terrible but this SIM kit is great.
