PlayTape Road Tape for Toy Cars - Sticks to Flat Surfaces, No Residue; 30 ft. x 4 in. Asphalt Road

This is absolutely THE BEST! My grandson is in love with cars and trucks and I was using blue painters tape to draw out roads for him on my kitchen bar (it is round and great for playing). I ordered this when I saw it (it also comes in railroad track design) and I am so pleased. You can cut it for whatever size you want, take it up when you are finished, roll it up and reuse it over and over and over again. After much use, sometime an edge doesn't want to stick, I just tape it down and then recut that piece later. You can put items such as books under the tape to make "hills or bridges" - it really sticks well but also comes up easily. When we have taped over books to make hills or bridges, the tape comes off the book easily without tearing the book cover. It does stick very well and does not come untaped during use. This tape comes in two sizes, depending on the size cars your little one will be using. We use legos or cardboard boxes to make tunnels - you can make "exits" as well - so versatile. If can become a bit wrinkled after being taken up and put down so much, but you can just pull one end up and straighten it - similar to what you would do with shelf paper or wall paper. The product is durable - it doesn't tear easily - you can put it down and take it up and it does not tear - neither does it tear when cars or trucks are "driven" over it. This product lends itself to fantastic creativity - I love products that don't involve digital/video/etc - this sticks well, comes up well, allows your child to do "old-fashioned" play. We have had our tape - both sizes and the railroad design for quite a while. I still have quite a bit of tape on the roll that hasn't been used because it holds up so well - we just keep reusing what we have already cut! This has to be one of my all time favorite toy items and one that I will be sharing as gifts to others!

The tape was great and very cute. I made a race track for my grandson’s birthday party. I had no issue with the tape sticking to the plywood. It also came off very easily. We had the guests paint wooden cars. I got off Amazon and then race them. My grandson who is three picked his favorite painted car. The winners of the race and his favorite won a prize.

Tape is thin, rips easily, hard to pull off roll w/out ripping especially with first use. If you want it to work have a good attitude to start. I enjoyed watching my 4y, 6y, 8y olds add movement to their manipulative play with hot wheels. They had fun running on it. I’m sure it won’t damage our tile. I plan to keep it on for a week.

Works well for 1/64 scale vehicles.

Easy to stick and peel off. No glue residue left behind when removed. I used them for the 100 Days of School event; we made a great project. I used them to decorate the tables for my son's birthday. I've used them in hotels to make a dance floor. My son is entertained for hours.

I have used road tape from this company before. That's what made me choose to spend more money for this tape (this was more expensive than other tapes that were identical) than I would have if I had chosen an off brand. Last time I purchased the 2" road tape. It was a bit narrow for the bigger cars (anything larger than the hot wheel cars), so this time, I got the 4" tape. The last tape I got stayed put for months, through floor washes and foot traffic. This barely made it through the week without needing multiple fixes, and the tape came up and tore in a few places. I like the concept and the product, but I have had to remove and replace the tape in a few places. It wasn't as sticky as the first round of play tape that I got about 6-8 months ago.

I redid my son‘s room for his birthday. I saw this and thought it would make a perfect border to go around his room. It was super easy to put on the wall being the perfectionist I am I had to undo it and redo it a few times and it didn’t get less sticky. So far none of it has peeled off. I had the perfect amount to do half of this room, with one roll, which is what all I needed. Would definitely recommend if you’re doing a similar project or could use it for playtime!!

I purchased this product to use as roads on an HO scale train layout and as a runway for a small airport as well. However, the supposedly white dashed centerline is not entirely white. In fact, it looks like a gradient paint chip from Home Depot! One end of each stripe is solid white and the other end is a charcoal grey with little blocks of progressively darker shades of grey in between. I tried to call InRoad Toys multiple times but got nothing but a "Leave a message and number and we'll call you back" on every extension I tried. I then called Amazon about this and they graciously sent a replacement. I just received that replacement and it too is affected in the same manner. I again called InRoad Toys multiple times, regarding both orders, but again got nothing but a "Leave a message and number and we'll call you back" on every extension I tried. So, I ended up calling Amazon once again which resulted in a full refund. I have to mention just how well I was treated by Amazon personnel...both agents were just great and I thank them both. Sadly, my advice is to purchase a different product because you just don't know what you're going to get with this vendor.

Has been very much appreciated on our window sills for the young boy. Applies just like masking tape, pretty easy to apply without bubbles etc.

Buyer beware! This advertises 30 feet of road. It is only 15 feet length of tape. I don't count that it's a double road.
