Beautiful rain gauge.

Looks good at night and stands out daytime and I was very happy with it until the lawn service broke the glass tube. Now to get a replacement tube.

This rain gauge is substantially larger and heavier than I thought, which is a good thing! It was heavy enough that I think it will hold up well in wind, and I appreciate the thick glass with big numbers. It also came with foam floats for the tube but I decided not to use them. I believe that will decrease my accuracy somewhat but I can "calibrate" this decorative one with my old rain gauge. One star off for the cheap metal which I am sure will rust within my first summer, but overall this will do the job nicely and looks great in the garden.

I love this rain gauge. It is pretty at night and the numbers are large enough to see from my window! 3-8-2025 UPDATE…Not so happy with this rain gauge now!! After the winter in NC, the glass tube broke (my fault, forgot to take it inside); however, this company does not offer a replacement tube! After searching several websites, there doesn’t appear to be a 7” tube anywhere! Guess what, after waiting to finally get sunshine, the solar power isn’t working either!! Soooo, I have a really pretty rain gauge, which doesn’t measure rain nor light up at night😡. Don’t waste your money!!!!

Worked perfectly, wanted a glass beaker with easy to read numbers!

Super cute, but the metal is incredibly thin and bent just from me putting it together. Assuming I don't move it, it should be fine, but the light hasn't worked since day 2. The rain gauge, which is what I actually needed, is excellent. Thick material, clearly marked, and should hold up nicely.

I purchased this rain gauge not only for its practical function but also as a piece of garden sculpture. We'd had no precipitation in some time but today there was a gentle rain for much of the day. The gauge captured two inches and this was the approximate amount of precipitation that our area had received according to the local weather report. The tube is thick glass, it is easy to put together and the little bird is adorable. Whether it rains or not this little sculpture is a pretty addition to the garden.

Nicer than expected

I bought his and one of the solar lights did not turn on! Opened the removed the battery! I found corrosion and it appears used! Not happy! I tried to clean the battery case and still nothing! Poor quality or it was used before!

Rebuild this item works great for our weather and seems to be pretty accurate. It is fairly sturdy for our weather here in Canada
