I may have been a little TOO excited to receive these trays. They are great for when we have 'tv dinner night' at our house. Being an adult I still can't get used to some foods touching and am totally geeking over that these trays are going to be great for picnics, traveling/car rides, football games, family gatherings, etc to have something sturdier than the standard flimsy paper plate. Also they're environmentally friendly. I was nervous that i wasn't going to receive the color chosen the title page didn't change when I selected the purple color but the 'color: purple' did show up but I had nothing to fear and love the dark purple!Edited: Used these for Thanksgiving 2019 and yes, the family laughed at myself and wife but we didn't spill, I could sit on the fluffy couch and still feel balanced. real deal. More food fit on my plate than what the rest of the family could use so - HA! multi purpose. I was also able to differentiate my plate from the others easily.

I would call the color Deep Purple. Which is what I was hoping for.

I ordered three of these. Two blue an done purple!!! They are fantastic for holiday parties and family get togethers!! They are high quality and very durable.
