Good quality panels
I purchased these panels for my new gaming setup and they work great at adding a nice backdrop. They’re relatively lightweight but still sturdy enough where it doesn’t flex. The back adhesive covers the entire panel and sticking it onto drywall, it adheres pretty strongly. It would take some effort to remove. I don’t know if it’ll peel off paint but when applying one panel I had to slightly pull back on it to adjust and didn’t notice any paint coming off. Installation is easy enough and these panels are an easy way to get some simple sound damping. They look great and would highly recommend them.

These simple but attractive panels install easily and deaden high-frequency sound immediately
These panels are a great way to cover bare walls and reduce sound reflection. Panels this thin can only cut high frequencies, and small rooms suffer from low-frequency build-up. If you're trying to make a recording space, the bass issues should be resolved first. These panels can improve a room for conversation, jamming, gaming, and home theater. You can detect a difference with one set, but two is a noticeable improvement. I object to the seller's use of 'soundproof' in the description. These are objectively not soundproof (-1 star), but they can improve your room's acoustics. This is only the start of treating a room, but this is a good value to treat 24 Sq Ft so easily (peel & stick).

Super handy and easy to use
These are great for getting some of the sound out of a recording space. The glue is nice and strong, but doesn't peel your paint. They really work too, better than the foam squares you see on sale frequently. A little more cost but worth it if you're serious about sound management.

Helped Reduce Pipe Noise in My Daughter’s Room – Plus They Look Great
Great for Ceiling Installation – Helped With Pipe Noise in My Daughter’s Industrial-Style Room We installed these Bubos acoustic panels directly on the ceiling of our daughter’s room, which sits right under the water pipes from the master bathroom. Every time someone ran water or flushed upstairs, the noise traveled straight through. These panels helped more than I expected—and they actually look great with her industrial-style decor. 🔹 What I Liked: • Helped reduce plumbing noise – We weren’t expecting total soundproofing, but they softened the harshness of the pipe sounds significantly. No more startling water rushes while she’s trying to sleep. • Ceiling-friendly – Despite being marketed mostly for walls, these panels were lightweight enough to go on the ceiling with strong command strips and adhesive backing. They’ve stayed up securely so far. • Aesthetic match – Her room has an industrial loft feel (metal accents, dark wood, minimalist colors), and these panels fit right in. They look more like modern art pieces than sound panels—big win for a teen space. • Good size & finish – Larger than typical acoustic tiles, and they don’t have the cheap foam look. Clean lines and nice texture. 🔹 Things to Know: • These absorb echo and reduce mid-level noise well, but don’t fully block structural or low-frequency sounds—that’s expected given the type of product. • You’ll need to plan your layout ahead of time if you’re doing the ceiling so it looks intentional. A template would be helpful. 🎧 Final Verdict: If you’re trying to reduce echo, footsteps, or water pipe noise from above—and want something that doesn’t kill your room’s style—these Bubos panels are a smart pick. They’re ceiling-safe, industrial-style approved, and actually make a difference in day-to-day comfort.

Mulitple boxes of white do not match
The first set was nice and white. This set is grey tinted. I was hoping with the lighting it would not be noticeable, but it is. I'm going to try to get a replacement and pray it's actually white like the first batch I bought. I was planning to use this as a background and sound muffling for virtual video calls. Update: Tried to swap a box of the grey for white, got another grey. They must have changed something in the production. I'm disappointed but I need the sound dampening so I'm just rolling with it. Beware if you are doing a larger area with multiple boxes, your panels might not match.
