Decided on this projector after watching a ton of reviews on youtube and they were right. this projector is awesome for the price. Very easy to set up, auto focuses and screen alignment (this can be adjusted manually in options as well). Size and weight was a little surprising to me, it is much beefier and higher quality than I was expecting. Functionality is perfect, ran HDMI from my Xbox and it worked right away. Connected to WiFi and all internal apps worked just as well as any other TV Streaming device. The projector does have a single attachment on the bottom for a tripod style mount, but I don't know how much I would trust that. The rubber feet are removable and has (4) standard bolt attachment points for mounting. Brightness and video quality is very good, does not need to be pitch black. We were able to see the screen just fine even with lights on, but obviously much better quality the darker the room is. I highly recommend this projector to anyone looking for a cheaper entry level setup.

I watched 20 to 30 videos on Youtube on ratings, and this one was a clear favorite of some many. I did some additional research and came to the conclusion after a few weeks of research that this was the unit to buy. After seeing it, I couldn't believe how nice this unit was, it looks as sharp as a 4K OLED TV outdoors! There's something special about watching a movie outdoors on an 80" screen in your backyard. My use case for this unit is to utilize it during camping trips. For me, there were 3 things I looked for, good video quality, is it fast enough to play video games on without any lag for an average gamer, can it autofocus so I don't have to spend anytime after turning it on, and is lastly, is it power efficient? It checked all these boxes. The first time I tested it, it was dark out at night, but I did have a bunch of random Halloween decorative lights on in the front yard, and it was still super bright. The wireless connectivity was SUPER easy to set up, the remote was great, and I even used a dongle to connect it to my iPhone 16 Pro and had zero issues streaming Netflix and other streaming channels straight to the projector. The value for money here was definitely a huge plus. I was initially looking for a small projector unit for camping trips. I did a bunch of research on those units and ultimately came to the conclusion that they were not worth it. At the end of the day, I was going to need a portable power station to power other items, and also in my case, I didn't care about size and weight since I was using it in a trailer. If I was backpacking and cared about size/weight/battery, then I'd probably not buy a projector at all for various reasons. Also, the nicest portable projector that you can buy, are only good for couple of movies on a single charge, which might be enough, but I wanted to have more flexibility. So at the end of the day, I bought an Anker SOLIX F2000 unit and this projector, with the Anker providing enough power for this unit and other camping gear such as a fridge. Again, high quality image which is super important. I would definitely buy this as a main source rather than buying an expensive TV if cost was an issue, otherwise, I do think OLED TVs are nicer than this, but for the outdoors, or casual gaming in an office, I think this is an amazing projector! Lastly, after seeing how clear this unit was, it really made me rethink having an OLED screen in the house and using this instead!

Just got my hands on this little projector and I'm pretty impressed for the price! Setting it up was a breeze, which is always a good start. The image quality is surprisingly decent, especially in a darker room. It's definitely not cinema quality, but for casual movie nights or gaming, it's more than enough. The built-in speaker is okay, but I'd recommend using your own sound system for a better experience. I love how portable it is; I can easily move it from room to room. It's a fantastic little gadget for anyone looking for an affordable home entertainment upgrade. Overall, I'm really happy with this purchase!

This could go either way. I have emailed Elephas for support. I will update my rating if things change. UPDATE #1: Email bounced back as invalid, but seller contacted me 3 days later due to this review. I have replied and will update here with outcome. UPDATE #2: (6 days after review.) After explaining the below situation through Amazon messaging, the representative agreed to exchange the projector and asked for my address for a shipping label. I supplied my address, but then received a message with an image showing support email addresses (Amazon will strip email addresses from messages). I expressed my disappointment at the extra, external step, but agreed to email outside of Amazon's message system. I will update with results. Also, I will attach the image with the valid support email addresses for others who may need support. UPDATE #3 - FINAL OUTCOME: After emailing Elephas customer support, I was shortly sent a paid return shipping label. Elephas sent a replacement projector as soon as they received shipping confirmation, and it arrived via Amazon 3 days later. I'm going to chalk this up to a bad unit (happens sometimes) and up my rating from 1 to 4 stars. If contacting customer service wasn't such a hassle, I'd go to 5 stars. It's a good projector when used with external inputs, it's just kind of clunky trying to use the built-in apps. We have been running this projector for about 2 months, about 2-3 hours per day. It worked well, with a good picture over HDMI. The operating system and apps seem to be at very low resolution, but the picture was sharp. Last week, the HDMI ports stopped working. We carried on, using the Plex app (again, low resolution until we started a stream). A few days later, the projector started shutting down randomly, but we were able to restart it and continue. last night, the projector shut down mid-movie and would not restart; no signs of life at all. I have emailed their support address (took a while to find it) and will update my rating depending on the outcome.

Solid sub $200 projector (with the 35% discount at checkout). Been using a DBPOWER projector as a daily driver for about 2 years and finally started to fade out so watched a few youtube videos to get some recommendations and Elephas was one reviewers #1 though the model he reviewed was no longer available so took a chance on this seemingly newer model. Note: most other reviews under this are for a different model that's plastic and white. This one is bigger with grey fabric as in the pic. Anyway, I was initially a little disappointed with the picture as the colors where a bit washed out and didn't pop like my much older cheap projector. But after some tinkering with the settings got a very vibrant picture. Biggest issue was the default brightness is set a bit too high. Bumping it down 5 steps (from base 50), bumping the contrast up 5 to 55, and upping the saturation to 55 at standard color temp, provides a great picture with very nice color to black ratio. You can tweak the color temp and play with the settings to suite your preferences but the key for me was to turn down the brightness. That's what was washing out the picture. Now I'm very happy with it. Picture quality is most important to me so the auto focus/auto keystone correction features usually don't matter to me; however, this is the first one I've had that both work flawlessly. Super impressed. It appears to have a light version of android with an app store (not google play) where you can install apps directly on the machine but I use an android TV box so can't say too much about that part. Summary Pros: -Large picture from short distance (well over 100" at about 10 feet) -Very good color to contrast ratio after tweaking the settings as described above -Auto focus, auto keystone work awesome -Nice fabric texture instead of just plastic Cons: -Fan is louder than my previous projectors. Not crazy loud but noticeable -Out of the box picture color is washed out, requires manual tweaking but not a huge deal once you get it dialed in -Not big but not as compact as most others in this price range (minor to not really an issue, just stating for reference) On day 5 with it and will report back if my opinion changes.
