Great to have handy to grab something without bending over. With years of back issues this tool saves me from strain. Good quality material. I haven't tried to pick up heavy items so not sure about its limitations. Easily unhooks and folds up for compact storage. Would recommend to people

Perfect for grabbing and picking things up. I love that it’s longer than the average ones on the market. The little magnetic feature at the tip of the grabber is a good idea but it’s not strong or wide enough. I still gave it 5 Stars, though.

Excellent for picking up trash snd plastic dirty bottles without bending over or getting your hands soiled.

I was looking for a longer reacher/grabber that would be easy to use, lightweight and very functional. I was disappointed with two other brands that I picked up, and so I took a chance on this one. The main thing I like about this particular design is that it's much longer, because I'm over 6 ft tall, and I don't want to have to bend over to get things off of the ground. It's too early to tell what the durability will be like, but it seems solid and sturdy enough. I like the fact that it doesn't squeak, and I was able to pick up a large can of soup from a distance. That's good enough for me. One other important point just to make is that you can't cheat physics. The longer you make the reacher grabber, the less utility you're going to have in being able to pick up heavy objects. That's just simple physics and leverage. So I'm not being too critical of this particular reacher grabber because I understand that I'll probably be more limited on picking up heavy objects at a farther distance.

This grabber does a great job grasping trash, even small items. And I love the longer reach. However, the hinge where the grabber folds snapped the first time I had to move a heavier item with it. It did continue to grab trash after the hinge snapped, but so far I haven't been able to repair the hinge with duck tape. So, great grabber, just don't put too much weight on it--no leaning on it or using for heavy items.
