I recently purchased the Gaberlee 1.7 L Glass Electric Kettle (Black), and I’m really impressed — this is a solid buy. Here’s what I like best, and why I’m very happy with it: ✅ What Works Really Well: Fast Boil Performance: The kettle heats up water extremely quickly. Even a full 1.7 L takes only about 5 minutes to come to the boil. Smaller amounts (0.5 L or a single cup) are almost instant. Great when you need your tea or coffee pronto. Keep Warm Function: Once boiled, it can keep water warm (around 60 °C) for several hours. Very useful for when you don’t want to re-boil but need warm water over time. Safety Features: Auto shut-off after boiling and boil-dry protection give peace of mind. No worries if you accidentally leave it on empty. The materials (borosilicate glass + food-grade stainless steel) feel safe and clean. Good Design & Usability: The blue LED indicator while boiling, changing to green for keep-warm mode, looks good and is clear. The mesh filter works well to reduce scale or bits. The 360° rotatable base is handy: no messing about trying to plug in if the cord is awkward. The wide opening makes cleaning easy. Value for Money: For the price, the kettle offers a lot of features and performance. It doesn’t feel “cheap” despite being quite affordable. The manufacturer also includes a 2-year guarantee, which helps with confidence in durability.

I purchased this kettle because it seemed to be a good product, and what attracted me the most was the fact that it is made of glass and stainless steel. However, the automatic shut-off system is faulty and makes the product unsafe. The kettle only switches off automatically if it completes a full boil. If I remove it from the base before the water reaches boiling point, it does not turn off automatically. That is exactly what happened: I used the water before it fully boiled, removed the kettle, poured the water, and then placed it back on the base. Several hours later, I smelled something burning. When I checked, the kettle was turned on with no water inside. The on/off switch had remained stuck in the “on” position. Most kettles automatically switch off for safety when removed from the base mid-process, but this one does not. Because of this malfunction, the kettle almost burned out and could have caused a fire in my home. For this reason, I am returning the product, as I consider it dangerous and a risk to my household.

Loving this new fast boil kettle, which looks and feels really stylish, a great addition to a busy kitchen. Pours beautifully, no spills here, a good size as well; and the additional stay warm feature is extremely useful when we have a house full of visitors. A simple lift of lid, easy to fill, clear glass so we know how much water is in it; a spout water filter; and the extra feature to keep water warm base button. The water really does boil super quick, even when full, but if we, as my partner often does, overfill the kettle for his tea, he can press the stay warm button to keep the water heated, ready for his next cuppa. The water doesn't stay boiling, but obviously quicker than boiling from cold. A decent length of cable to plug into the wall point, larger size kettle, but light enough for anyone to hold safely with the sturdy handle; and the auto shut off if the kettle is dry, another great feature. Easy to use, blue light to boil, green light to keep warm; we've been using it for just over a week now, and we both are delighted with it, and such a reasonable price too.

Nice enough but takes a while to boil. It could have a longer cable but that's just where my last one was so it's a tight squeeze on work top. "Keep warm" button works but doubt ill use it. Good to see the amount of water before switching on.

The kettle is okay, it looks nice enough. It boils the water. The keep warm button keeps it warm but not hot so is a little pointless. Its also sold as fast boil, which it isn't. I can empty and refil the dishwasher, feed the cats and put a wash on before its actually boiled so definitely not fast.

I’m really happy with this kettle so far! It looks super sleek on my counter, and the glass design makes it feel more expensive than it actually is. The size is perfect—1.7L is plenty for making multiple drinks without needing constant refills. It boils water fast and is noticeably quieter than my old kettle. The keep-warm feature works well and is really convenient. Overall, great functionality, solid build quality, and it was packaged well on arrival. Definitely worth it for everyday use.

Boiling it and plastic smell on first run is stronger then 2nd run still there.Its noisy and the lid abit hard to open ,the base is abit light not as smoothly like most kettle base this a only one I have to hold the base when I lift it up and after boiling the handle on top near the on/off button got heat up feeling kind of hot ,I so wanted to return it but it meant I have to repack then take it to post office,will keep till I find another one ,Now day no matter what's brand cheap or expensive they are badly made not like from the 80s
