It is a menthol based lineament that comes as a blueish jelly in a jar. Compares with other menthol rubs. Haven't had any stains so far from the blue coloring. Easier to get placed on vertical surfaces than liquids that want to run.

I absolutely love this stuff! Went through my first jar so quick I just ordered more. It helps cool the heat from swelling and the icy cold effect distracts me from the initial pain. Feels like a longer lasting ice pack! Drys pretty quick and doesn’t leave a sticky residue behind either. Smells great and doesn’t stain or ruin clothes and blankets. Definitely worth trying
