Outstanding Gloves And Customer Service
I am a farmer who performs a wide range of tasks on a daily basis, such as pulling vines, moving compost, seeding, putting up and maintaining fencing, untangling barbed wire, and dealing with animals. These tasks require me to have a reliable pair of gloves that I can easily put on and take off repeatedly. The NoCry Long Rose Pruning Gloves for Women fulfill all of these requirements and more. Craftsmanship. They are made with strong seams and reinforced fingertips, making them durable enough to handle the demands of my work. Additionally, they have a design that is both aesthetically pleasing and functional. Comfort. Despite their durability, the gloves are surprisingly soft and comfortable to wear. In fact, there are times when I forget that I even have them on. Furthermore, I have found that they are true to size, providing a perfect fit. Function. In terms of functionality, these gloves excel. I can effortlessly pull thorny vines without worrying about getting pricked. The gloves are not bulky, allowing me to handle barbed wire with ease and care. Even when the sharp points of the wire have gotten caught on the gloves, my hands and fingers have remained protected. Maintenance. I do not clean the outside of the gloves as they are part of my everyday wear on the farm. However, I make sure to keep the inside clean. As per the advice of a NoCry representative, I simply shake the gloves out and I use my fingers or a brush to remove any debris that may have gotten inside. NoCry Customer Service. I want to commend NoCry for their exceptional customer service. When I noticed that an excess portion of Velcro was scraping my hand every time I put the gloves on or took them off, I reached out to them via email. Not only did they respond promptly, but they also sent me a replacement pair that did not have the excess Velcro issue. For anyone who may encounter the same problem though, I discovered that fingernail clippers will easily cut the excess Velcro without causing any damage to the seam. This simple solution takes only seconds to complete. I am thrilled to have finally found a company that provides exceptional customer service and strives toward excellence in the manufacture of an outstanding pair of gloves that perfectly meets the diverse needs of a farmer like myself!

The best gardening gloves ever!
I had no idea that gloves could be this good. They are comfortable and supple, but block almost every thorn or needle. Not everything, but more than any other glove I've used. We've been trying to recover a neglected 2 acre property, hacking and pulling thorn bushes, spiny tumbleweed looking things, screen repair, and a multitude of brush and debris. The gloves have handled it all with ease. I even wear them when I'm using the chain saw. The "work" gloves from the big box stores can't compare. In fact, they are all still sitting in the garage. Not sure if we'll every use them again. These gloves are the real deal. Probably will order a backup set. ** Updated - 15 Oct 2021. Okay. I just bought a second pair, at the recommendation of my lovely wife. No, the first pair are not worn out. A little stained, size chainsaws seem to be required to leak a oil. And I might have been a little messy when filling them. What? Them? Plural? Well, I bought a small chainsaw first. And of course it wasn't big enough. So I bought a second one that was larger. More Power! Anyway, after many more days of cutting and pulling trees and brush, and pulling all sorts of spiny desert things with crazy deep roots, the gloves are still working great, and I still recommend them. I bought a similar set of gloves for the wife on Amazon from a different supplier. They are fantastic too, but have the craziest long name: "Magid Glove & Safety BE195TL Professional Rose Pruning Thorn Proof Gardening Gloves with Extra Long Forearm Protection for Women, Large, Brown & Purple." Wow. Is that a simplistic method to trick search engines by including every possible related word in the title? Well, I digress. Both great gloves. Cheers! Doug

Great gloves!
These gloves are amazing. Seriously. I've dealt with some pretty gnarly cactus and they never pierce through. Oddly enough though the ones with the fiberglass like tiny hairs do eventually seem to get through. And they also get stuck all in the gloves and I can't get them out. I store them back in the bag they came in and put them on and take them off very carefully so as not to get them in my other hand. They fit well for me and also work for my husband who's hands are much bigger than mine. Decent value for the money under twenty bucks.

Seller sent me a new pair.
The first pair that I got was a little bit bunk. One glove performed well while the other one was thin and really big. I assume it was from the cut of the goat skin. I got my new pair and examined them. They are nice and thick at the tips of the fingers and inside of the palm. This set looks a lot better and I will be trying them out tomorrow as I have some digging to do. I was contacted from my not so good review. The seller refunded my money immediately and even though I had not answered their reply after the 30-day. That Amazon gives them to replace the item, the seller was totally willing to send me a brand new pair. I can tell you right now, if you're not happy with your purchase, all you got to do is let them know and they will take care of you. However, it looks like I'm going to be okay with this new pair.

Stands up to Himalayan blackberries!
I purchased these back in the fall, thinking I was going to get out and clear some brush, but until now (spring) I had not used these NoCry Large Red Thorn Proof Gardening Gloves. When I pulled them out of the package, I thought “there is no way these gloves are going to stand up to Himalayan Blackberries”. The leather hand portion hardly seemed more substantial than my other “less than adequate” gloves. For those that do not know, Himalayan blackberries are one of three blackberry species that Washington State classifies as a “C” Class Noxious weed. They are everywhere, spread like wildfire, and are quite hardy towards the most common methods of control. Left uncontrolled, they only get bigger, feeding the wildlife during berry season, which spread the plants even further. The classification means that you can cut, dig, and (cautiously) chemically control these weeds.. As a proper defense against that clearing, these blackberries have at least two mechanisms. Thorns of various length and sharpness depending on age, and what part of the plant you are touching. Adding to that-- those same thorns, have a toxin that produces short term skin sensitivity (itching, irritation, burning). Cutting, clearing, and finding the central roots to dig up all require gloves that are puncture proof and protective of your hands extending up your arms. I was surprised the NoCry gloves worked so well. Handling the thorniest of stems they are puncture proof. The only time I had had a breach was when I inadvertently and forcefully slapped at some of the heaviest thorns. Even then, a thorn just broke off in the glove barely registering on the skin underneath. Pulling on roots, handling tools, and moving the brush around, my hands and arms remained untouched by thorns and chemical sensitivity. My legs were less lucky – even with jeans on… blackberry clearing managed to produce some sensitive scrapes. As Pacific NW resident, I highly recommend these NoCry gloves for clearing Himalayan blackberries!

Good protection from thorns.
I am a professional landscaper and these gloves are hands down the best I've ever used in working with thorns. They are puncture resistant, not completely puncture proof, so you may feel the thorn tips slightly through the gloves but that is just your warning to not grip too tightly. I can run my gloved hands up and down a thorn packed vine, twig, etc. and barely feel them at all. Having the adjustable strap at the top of the arm is extremely helpful in keeping the gloves from sliding down so my arms are protected as well. I am amazed at how much easier my job of tackling thorns has become now that I am using these gloves. I measured my hand and the large seemed to fit within my range but purchased the medium just in case and I'm glad I did as the large would have been too big so I'd say they run a bit large unless you have really wide hands ( I am a female with fairly slender hands). Quality is great, I am extremely happy with this purchase and will be buying more as I'll need them for my landscape business.

Worth twice the price! Love these gloves.
These gloves are amazing. I just spent the last 2 trimming up my Buffalo Bushes. They have thorns all over the branches, from 1/2 an inch up to 4 inches in length, with the average thorn being about 2 inches. The last time I worked on these bushes I spent days digging out thorn tips out of my fingers, and swore that I wouldn't work on them again without a better pair of gloves. My husband bought these thinking that there was no way they would hold up to these thorns, as they could give roses a lesson in nastyness, especially at this price point. However, we read all the reviews and decided to go for it. I can not put into words just have impressed I am with these gloves. I filled 2 commercial contractor grade 3 mil thick bags today, 42 gallons each, with 4 to 6 inch pieces of buffalo bush bits. Not once did I get poked, except for my right elbow which took a small puncture. I have attached pictures of my gloves when I was done. I'm right handed, so you can see the left glove took the most abuse. The bit of blood you see was from my elbow, not from my hands. The one thing I would point out is sizing. We bought the first pair in a medium, as that is the size I usually wear. I have average size ladies hands, wearing a size 7 wedding ring. The mediums were large on me, but fit my husband perfectly, so we bought a small. For most ladies a small would fit perfect. They are just tight enough that they don't flop around or fall off, but do allow some air movement, so my hands didn't get hot.

Lifesaver!
This product is a no brainer if you prune shrub roses! Should have bought this years ago and avoided the seasonal cuts on hands and up forearms that take days to recover from. Product fits as indicated and is true to size (I often get XL in gloves because large can be tight and restrive but the large sz. fit very well and soft goatskin allows for good dexterity. Used these after receiving them today to finish pruning two large shrub roses and no cuts or punctures whatsoever. Best gardening purchase ever, excellent product just wish I had bought these years ago!! Quality and materials look very good so I expect them to hold up if you use them properly and don't get them wet.

Keine Dornenstiche oder Kratzer mehr
Super Handschuhe.
