The Pickiest Cat on Earth sez....(she seems to feel better!)
16 yr old cat who sniffs and may or may not eat what's in her dish. She has APPROVED the Nutramax Cosequin in her pate. I use a half cap per feeding. She gets a 1/4 can mixed with water (does not drink water and is consistenly under hydrated) 4x day with the 1/2 cap of Cosequen mixed in. The brand is odorless and tasteless (I always pretest). I started this as she shows signs of arthritis in back legs. I am hoping to ease her achy furry body. Recommended. Additional Note: Although online info states that it takes weeks of taking chondroitin etc.after almost a week my cat seems to be much more comfortable. She sleeps better, gets in/out of the litter box easier.

Best I have used
I like this version/brand to be the best I've used so far. Instead of a large tablet, it is capsules that you pull apart and sprinkle on the food. In my cat actually likes it!

My 13 year old cat has a over genetic disease which makes his bones grow beyond the joints. And this medication has made it tolerable for him to walk.

I love this, it’s helping my cat so much! She uses the bathroom more comfortably now and I’m so grateful this exists. What I’ve been doing is giving it to get every other day with water mixed into her wet food per vet’s instructions

I can't believe my picky princess ate it!!
The main battle is getting my picky princess of a cat to take any kind of medicine. I mixed one capsule with a half of a small can of Fancy Feast and she didn't hesitate at all. I know the directions say to start with 2 capsules, but if she gets turned off by the smell or the taste, she will never give it another chance. I really hope this helps my 10 year old girl. I will post an update in about 3 months!! Update: I can tell a difference in her gait with and without the supplement. I ran out of soft food for a few days and the hitch in her walk started to come back. She still eats it with no hesitation. My vet wanted to do expensive injections and I'm glad I decided to try this supplement before going that route.
