This portable AC is awesome. My son set it up for me, and overall it was pretty easy. I bought the used option, and I honestly can’t even tell it was ever opened. It looked great and works perfectly, so it was an amazing value for the money. The only challenge was getting it installed into the window panel kit because the large hose does require some space, but once it was set up, it worked amazingly well. It has taken my warm room from uncomfortable to almost freezing in barely any time. It cools the entire room quickly, and the remote is really convenient. The settings are easy to change, and I love that it can oscillate if I want it to. This has been a real game changer, especially because the AC in my house does not distribute evenly to every room. I would definitely buy it again and highly recommend it to others.

This is a very good portable air conditioner. It is a premium product. Nice looking. Hence the price. It does blow air very strong but it is relatively quiet averaging around 40 -42 db from a few feet away. The sleep mode makes it even quieter. It has an eco mode supposedly for efficiency but didn't find it to be effective. The best feature is that it pauses and goes silent when it reaches pass its target temperature long enough just like you'd see from an HVAC. Somehow, I was not getting this during eco mode. As it gets close to reaching its target temperature, it gets less noisy. So it depends on how hard it has to work. I think this would be best in a room that is no more than 200 sq ft., although it can work further than that without a problem, it'll just take longer for it to reach its goal, if you're looking for it to be quiet sooner and silent. The app for the phone is very helpful too! You can control it remotely even outside your house, showing the temperature in the room it's been working with, and when it's time to clean it. All said, I wish Dreo had an inverter version because I'm in Houston and this may not stand well in the harsh summer heat. I'll just be hearing it working hard all day long.

Granted we've only had it a day now so who knows how it'll stand the test of time but so far it's excellent. It was significantly smaller & lighter than the one it was replacing so I was initially worried it wouldn't cool as well. This was definitely not the case, it cooled out room quickly & well. It's well made & looks nice. It was very straightforward to get set up, probably the least hassle out of any we've owned. There is a remote for it, & the app is awesome. It was super easy to pair to the app- it pretty much did everything itself- & you can do/view pretty much anything from the app. The app also has the user manual & maintenance on it, which is a blessing for people like me that lose literally everything. Works great, very impressed. Hopefully it stays that way. So far would definitely recommend.

This is an amazing A/C. It cools fast and relatively quiet! If your debating with different makes, go with this one! This is a great brand and installation was easy. I highly recommend!

Great portable air conditioner. I am so happy to finally have found one that works well. Hassle free installment. Comes with different size window panels to accommodate minimum size window 18" upto 53". Been working 30 hours and I have not had to drain. Cools my 165 square feet room in less then 30 minutes to a very cold temp of 61 degrees. I like it very cold when I sleep because I like to use my cozy quilt. Do not hesitate to buy. I have purchased 4 portable air conditioners. One stop working after a year and the others I had to return for one reason or other and what a hassle that was. It is a small but powerful machine but noise level is low. Furthermore the machine looks great. I am considering buying another one for my living room. I am so happy to have found this machine after many hot summers. Where I live, I can't install a window air conditioner so this find has been a blessing.

The unit is stated to work as both A/C and Dehumidifier. That was my motivation in purchasing it: emergency A/C - regular use as Dehumidifer. A/C mode is OK - quite noisy but it it does provide cooling. It was purchased as an "emergency" A/C unit and that's how it was used. OK-enough but I'd not want this racket in my bedroom in anything but an emergency. A Dehumidifier it really isn't. I understand that a dehumidifier is nothing more than a chiller that condenses moisture on the cold heat exchanger. I'm also well aware of Carnot's theorem, since high school: the efficiency of a refrigeration system in creating a temperature difference through the application of work to the system. An A/C or Dehumidifier will draw electrical power and put more heat into the room than it can remove in cooling - OK. Nevertheless, a true dehumidifier blends the hot and cold exhausted air. This unit does not. It emits cold air from the top and an entire river of hot air from the back. The net heat is the same but the hot air tends to be re-ingested by the unit, causing it to shut down because the relative humidity has dropped. It has to be ducted away from the unit and also away from where one might be sitting. It's annoying. It also runs the fan, whether it's condensing or not - never shuts off, even if the humidity set point is reached. The fan alone isn't as noisy as the chiller but the noise will always be there. The key will be reliability - too early to say anything about that. If it lasts a few years, great. We'll see.

Great so far. Cools well and exhaust hose doesn’t get too hot. Easy setup and instructions.

Hands down the best! Airflow is perfect, install was easy, noise level = quiet! My room felt a whole lot cooler as soon as I plugged it in. Don't even get me started when it comes to the app, you get more features and customization!
