Expensive for spare bulbs
PRODUCT: Replacement filament and globes x 10 PACKAGING: Plain small cardboard box with information stickers on all sides. FUNCTION: Inside the box each little plastic globe and filament are secured within a clear cellophane bag. You also get a user manual printed in multiple languages on a sheet of paper. This is basically care instructions and trouble shooting. The filaments are push fit type while the bulbs are screw type and about the size of a snooker/pool ball. The globes have a rating of IP65, so it is dust tight (6) and can withstand splashing, falling or dripping water, and can operate in a variety of weather conditions (5). These are a perfect fit for my string of festoon lights (which are by ZOTOYI, so unsure if they are actually compatible with other brands). While all my lights remain intact and functioning at present, I now have spares in case this changes in the future. At the time of this review (March 2025) the spare bulbs and filaments were £19.99 with a 20% discount, making them about £15.99. I think this is over-priced for a set of spare bulbs.

Bunte Abdeckungen sehr enttäuschend
Die Leuchtmittel selbst überzeugen durch eine solide Grundhelligkeit und wirken hochwertig verarbeitet. Leider kann ich das von den farbigen Abdeckungen nicht behaupten. Die Farbwiedergabe ist bei eingeschaltetem Leuchtmittel äußerst enttäuschend: Gelb erscheint nahezu weiß, Orange wirkt wie ein blasses Gelb, Blau ist lediglich ein sehr helles Hellblau, Rot und Grün sind akzeptabel, Lila ist praktisch nicht wahrnehmbar. Insgesamt stehen Preis und Leistung in keinerlei Verhältnis. Jedes beliebige farbige LED-Leuchtmittel (E14 oder E27), das derzeit auf dem Markt erhältlich ist, erzielt deutlich sattere, klarere Farben. Eine Nachbesserung seitens des Herstellers ist dringend erforderlich. Um den Schaden zumindest etwas zu begrenzen, habe ich inzwischen auf farbigen Glühlampenlack zurückgegriffen – was bei diesem Preisniveau eigentlich nicht nötig sein dürfte. Ich bin insgesamt sehr enttäuscht.
