First of all, wearing sunscreen is usually horrible for me. The texture, the grease, the gross feeling that most sunscreens give me is difficult to overcome when you are mentally sensitive to things like this. And so I have always been on the lookout for something I can actually stand to wear. PLUS, I have sensitive skin and get oily in my Tzone with some dryness on my cheeks & underneath eyes. And I prefer mineral over chemical because I hate when my eyes sting & I prefer to use cleaner ingredients. Thrive sensitive version SPF is it for me. Somehow, it feels moisturizing without being greasy (I am always skeptical when people say this because I automatically think that means grease, but this just feels hydrating and sinks in without being oily at all for me). I can put this under my eyes and they feel great, soothed. No white cast for me and I'm medium skin-toned, slightly olive complexion. Makeup looks beautiful over it. I even put this on one day only because I had an allergic reaction to something & my face was bright red, inflamed, & itchy. This soothed it so much, I had most of my redness gone in a few hours.

Almost all products irritate my skin, especially sunscreens, but I have not had even a single moment of neither skin nor eye irritation. I even tried it after threading and it still didn’t cause irritation. I’ve tried over 15 different sunscreens catered to sensitive skin and they caused some sort of irritation or white cast. This takes a bit of effort to blend in but it somewhat brightens my face and doesn’t leave me looking like a ghost. I love that it’s 20% zinc with a good blend of ingredients (with exception to the few acids and alcohols). Definitely recommend for those who have sensitive dry skin and want a mineral sunscreen that doesn't leave a terrible white cast, doesn't contain comedogenic oils (including coconut), is reef safe, cruelty free, and non-nano. Even the container can be recycled! I’m grateful to whoever curated this. I think I’ve found my sunscreen.

It absorbs very quickly, no white cast, not greasy. I love the high percentage of zinc oxide and the company’s mission statement. The detractors are a strange smell when applying and a lack of tint, which would’ve made this a competitor.

I use this sunscreen under my makeup. It goes on clear and is not oily and does not have much of a scent. I spend a lot of time in the sun, but I do not get sun on my face even on the hottest of days. I feel it is a good product at a reasonable price.

I wanted to love this because it is so natural, fragrance & chemical free (I got the sensitive skin one). I have researched plenty of spfs & they say they’re chemical free and they’re really not or they’re natural/mineral spfs yet full of oils and scents. This one only has sunflower oil, which I was hesitant about but it had far less ingredients than most. I tried it when I went to the pool, my face didn’t burn but I broke out with small red pimples all around my face. This was the only product that was new in my regimen and it wasn’t like hormonal acne because it was scattered all around my face. Also I was surprised how small the bottle is for the price. The search continues..if you don’t have sensitive skin like me then I think you’ll love this, there is no white cast. Make sure skin is hydrated well enough before putting on to avoid peeling.
