As the title states this stuff has been an absolute miracle for treating my panic attacks. I have been using it for about 5 years now. Prior to that I was on Lorazepam for 10 years which was a nightmare. It did nothing but cause rebound panic attacks and the withdrawal from it was awful. When I have a panic attack now I put a half a dropper of this under my tongue and leave it for a few seconds then swallow with water. It literally stops my panic within minutes. I will never be without this. Yes it does taste awful but as long as it works I don't care what it tastes like!

Your passionflower supplement contains alcohol because it is likely an herbal tincture or liquid extract. Alcohol is used as a "menstruum" (solvent) because it is highly effective at drawing out and preserving the plant's active calming compounds (like flavonoids) super alcohol concentration in this. You can put it in hot (not boiling) water and most of the alcohol will “burn” off. Not, this was a surprise!! Not sure if it works yet, but I have high hopes

This works very well for sleep use. I used a half dropper and it was really potent. I now use about 4 - 6 drops per the directions to use with a little liquid. I usually sleep a good amount of hours before I wake using this.

This works well for relaxing the mind, but it is less effective as a sleep aid. The taste is mildly nutty. The dropper only fills by one third when you try to fill it. The instructions are one dropper full per dose. Good for relaxation but it does not induce sleep.

As the headline reads I have both generalized anxiety and panic disorder and I’ve been dealing with it all of my life. As someone who has been on many medications over the years with often negative repercussions I’m very much for the natural approach of diet, exercise, Therapy, and supplements. This is not my first herbpharm tincture I first bought the chamomile and lemonbalm. I was already comfortable using this when I bought it I just didn’t realize how amazing it was for anxiety until recently when I started having crippling panic attacks again at the end of February. As someone who took Clonopin for more than six years, and then had to spend a year withdrawing and coming off of it I have to say this tincture gives me just as much relief. Without any of the side effects of withdrawal symptoms. That’s enough to be a win in my book. It’s reasonably priced it lasts a fairly long time you can also buy a 4 ounce bottle which I love as an option. Everyone is different And is affected differently so that’s important to keep in mind. It sucks to see the reviews bad mouthing these herb farm products for potency and what not. Your time would be better spent making a tincture of your own at home instead of writing reviews for products that work for hundreds of other people. I’m so happy I found this and it gives me hope that my anxiety and more so my panic attacks aren’t going to take over my life.

I have suffered from mild anxiety since having my first child 15 years ago. It's basically because I'm a type A control personality and kids pretty much take away all organization and leave chaos. :) Anyway, I'd tried prescription meds but the side effects were more bothersome than the problem ie: weight gain, lethargy and a general feeling of disassociatedness. Enter passionflower. I'd been researching to find a natural remedy and passionflower was the only one that came up as working with no side effects. This is incredible! To be fair, one side effect is that with higher dosages it acts as a mild sedative which is fine for bedtime, it stops my mind from spinning through all the things I need to get done and allows me to rest. The other side effect is that it thins your blood and as such can lower your blood pressure. Great news if yours is high, mine runs low so I have to be a little careful. Because it thins the blood, you want to try to avoid taking aspirin. Other than that, this stuff is my miracle in a bottle. I take 10-15 drops morning and afternoon and 30 drops at bedtime. The label says 30-40 drops 2-5 times a day, so I really think it's about playing around with it to find the level you need. However, start off small and work your way up. You don't want to knock yourself out in the middle of the day. At this dosage, the 1 oz. bottle lasts me about 3 weeks.

As a professional herbalist, I have high standards, but sometimes I don't want to make everything myself, if it's for my own use. This is one of my favorite brands for passionflower tincture. I like it so much, I even recommend it to clients sometimes.
