The only coconut milk powder I can find that doesn't contain maltodextrin, which has a glycemic index of 130. It's pretty fluffy considering it has no fillers. The flavor isn't quite as good as native forest used to be prior to adding fillers but is just fine.

A previous reviewer noted that they received spoiled coconut milk powder. I took a chance and bought two bags anyway, but unfortunately I got the same bad batch, LOT# 008782PAS. It tastes like sour milk and spoiled food. I will not be trying this brand again, because the manufacturer in Brazil obviously has unsafe food handling practices and has zero quality control. I avoid maltodextrin because it causes intestinal inflammation, alters gut bacteria, and thins the protective mucus layer of the gut. I had previously tried another brand falsely claiming to be maltodextrin free, but it dissolved easily in water, so obviously it had maltodextrin in it. The essenzefruits coconut milk powder is clumpy and dissolves poorly, indicating they are at least being truthful about only containing coconut milk powder. I just can't eat it because it is rotten. At this point I've had to give up on trying to find pure coconut milk powder, after wasting a lot of money on bad products. If you try to find another brand without maltodextrin, be sure to read all of the reviews carefully. If they say it dissolves easily, it most likely contains maltodextrin. Lying about ingredients seems to be common.
