Lumber Jack 100-Percent Hickory Wood BBQ Grilling Pellets, 20-Pound Bag

I've been using pellets that are easily accessible from a major warehouse store nearby. I felt like flavor was lacking so I sought out these pellets after asking around and doing my own research. There is a noticeable difference in smoky flavor! I will absolutely be buying these again, but wish I could find them to purchase locally.

Traeger adds flavoring oils to try & make up for their lack of taste, and Not 100% Hickory!-I don't want burned oil in my food/body, even though they cost less locally (The Cheap, Often becomes expensive!)!After reading dozens of Pellet Brand Reviews at Pelletheads dot com, I'd give Lumberjack a try?-WOW!- I Just ate the best NYS I've had in years (Traeger Lil Tex 70E)!Taste Tip for "More Smoke Taste" (Traeger recipe book, and I'll try on Pizza... too!?)-Set your BBQ to Smoke, for 5min (no less!).Close lid, and smoke your meat... for 15min a side (patted dry, and No seasoning yet).Remove meat, and Pre-heat to 375f for 15min (no less!)- Go season your meat to taste... , while waiting.Put your Steak... on for 12min a side (1.25" NYS was even pink/ Medium, and nicely browned on both sides).Remove, Spread thin butter on top, and let sit for 3min.Enjoy!

We have a Traeger Renegade grill, which as THE BEST deal for the money on the market.....period! However, after stocking up on Traeger Hickory (SOME hickory flavor) pellets from our local hardware store, I soon realized that ALL Traeger pellets are simply "hardwood" and in this case NOT, NADA, NO WAY 100% hickory pellets! Further, the meat I've smoked has seriously lacked the smoke flavor we crave!That problem has been solved, thanks to Lumber Jack!! They sell their pellets for the same price as Traeger, however, they are EXACTLY what they claim on the label, in my case 100% hickory. Thanks Lumber Jack....you have a new customer and thankfully, Amazon has them!

I have a GMG DB and have feeding problems since new ( 6 months old ).Lots of grinding ,crunching ,binding noises going on to the point that I was ready for a auger failure.I noticed in the advertising that these pellets were smaller diameter and decided to try them.PROBLEM SOLVED THANK YOU

I’ve been using these in my chip tray when I smoke homecured bacon. They burn great, stay lit and produce a nice flavorful smoke. Best bacon ever!

I use this to cold smoke meat before actual cooking. It does not want to stay lit (and smoking) in an A-MAZE-N smoke tube.

Best flavor of any Hickory pellet. A bit more ash, but worth it.

Used on Traeger grill l, food was awesome!
