I purchased this head lamp after a blackout. I was originally looking for a a purple camp light and this item appeared in my search. Due to the reviews, I decided to purchase one and it has been extremely useful. In a recent blackout, I was able to walk around in my home and outside and see a good distance. In addition, I loved being able to have my hands free to work around my home even with the power out. This head lamp provides more light than my lanterns.

I love this little headlamp. It's lightweight and has all the features I need and want and it's purple to boot! I love that you don't need to cycle through the brightness settings in order to turn it off. That really was the selling point for me. It does it's job well, and it's cute, too.

I use this to read in bed at night. It provides a bright concentrated light. I look like a coal miner laying in bed

I think I'm trend-setting with this one. I live in the desert and have a lot of walkers in my neighborhood. A lot of us exercise in the evening when it's cooler, and often at or just after dusk. Plenty of them have asked me where I got this as I jog by. I have seen a couple of these head lamps show up lately, so apparently Amazon.com is hearing from more of my neighbors!

Easy to set up. Fits nicely. Very bright light. However, I ordered in purple and the box says purple, but it looks pink. Came with Duracell batteries.
