Sony MDR-222KD Childrens Headphones (Black)

I'm so glad I bought these for my 6 year old daughter. I recently purchased an mp3 player for her...but even the high quality child size ear buds hurt her ears. These were a GREAT alternative. Now she listens to her music ALL THE TIME! No more complaints of aching ears! And she thinks they are very stylish. They fit her great...they are adjustable and even fit me if adjusted to a higher setting. It limits the volume to a reasonable level. She can still listen to her music some what loud and "rock out"...but not so loud that it poses a safety risk. Love them!

These headphones are nearly perfect. In fact, for kids they are perfect. When we moved I was forced to find headphones quickly so my daughter could use the iPads at school. I tried sending those horrible earbuds mainly because I've got a dozen pairs tangled up in knots and spread all over the house. She hated them, which makes sense because I hate them. Then we tried a cheap pair of similar headphones purchased from a box store. They snapped in half in her backpack. I held out reviewing these until the end of the school year, but I'm pleased to report they not only survived this year but I think they'll get another year or more of use out of them. Pros: - Extremely Durable - Lower volume (perfect for kids ears) Cons: - Sound quality is not great, but still acceptable even for me The pros are really all you can ask from children's headphones. They sound quality is to be expected. I'd buy them again in a heartbeat, but I won't have to because they just keep going.

Nice sounding, quality headset for your little ones. They can tend to be a little quiet, but this was expected from the interviews I read. Worked great for a trip, and work great for sitting around the house when you're trying to quiet down a tablet for the little ones. The ear pads didn't really last too long, having been ripped/chewed off.

These headphones fit my kids good with room to expand when their heads grow. They are 7 years old now. They look nice & most importantly sound good. I was concerened about the volume level but that is not an issue. I had our Sony DVD player on about 10 & it sounded great, when I put it to 12 my daughter said way too loud. The volume can go up to 20 but it doesn't look like you have to crank it in order to hear on these headphones since 10 was plenty. Maybe my DVD player just puts out a lot of power or maybe others were not putting out good power. I haven't tried in a plane yet but it looks like we have room to turn up volume to compensate for background noise. They have good bass & full sound for inexpensive headphones. Of course there is better but they are easily accpetable, especailly for a kid.

No kidding -- I'm a large man with a head to match. I first found these headphones in a consumer electronics store, and despite the description as "children's headphones" they looked like they would fit me, so for the price I thought "Why not try 'em out? Heck they're made by Sony." WOW! These headphones sound like they would cost at least $50, and I listen to everything on these headphones from classical symphonic music to progressive rock, to smooth jazz, to blues, to movies. These headphones must be the best value available today for great sound at an incredibly low price. So I bought four more pair from Amazon to last me the rest of my life. Yes, there are better sounding headphones out there, but they are going to cost five times more and weigh so much more that you're going to get tired of having them on your head after an hour or two. The weight of these "children's" headphones are completely unnoticeable on my head. So I sometimes use them for 6 or more hours per listening session on the weekend.

Got these for my 9-year old daughter. She liked the look and fit and they seem rather sturdy. However, there is a built in volume control that prevents listening to music too loud and damaging the ears. An important safety feature but probably overkill. I had to agree with my daughter that listening to music with these headphones was impossible unless done in a sound-proof room.

Perfect fit. I have a small head and a very short hair, and have a difficult time finding headphones that fit right. I wear them on a very small setting, so I think you would have to have a pretty big head to not be able to use these. (My 4 year old wears them at the smallest setting and fit her perfectly.) They are not tight, so they are very comfortable. I've been using them almost daily for 7 months and they still sound great. Usually by now the sound on one side will start cutting out and I will buy something else, so I've tried a lot of different brands and models over the years. When these do finally break, I will definitely repurchase. One of the pads has been wearing thin and just came off today, which is why I'm on here, to order replacement pads. They still work perfectly so no need to replace the whole thing.

This was a gift for my granddaughter. She wanted headphones as the ear buds bothered her ears. It was difficult to find child size earphones at the stores. So, of course I went to Amazon. They look nice and work very well. Only issue I had was that they were not shipped by Amazon. They arrived late and the company did not make the shipping information available to us. As our granddaughter was visiting from out of state and the headphones came in too late. I had to ship them to her. Not happy to pay for shipping twice! But the product is good..

daughter loves these pink headphones. Sized well for a childs head. Loudness limiter works well also. Very good dynamic range for this price point. Nice that the cord is only on one side. RECOMMENDED

Quien diría que los audífonos infantiles, como este modelo, dan una imagen retro y a la vez fresca, personalmente no me gustan los audífonos de diadema aislantes de sonido, pues los considero toscos, incómodos y de diseño muy bajo, podrán en efecto tener mejor calidad de audio, pero no quita el crédito a estos Sony MDR-222KD, donde la calidad de audio se percibe como de las mejores (adicionando la reputación de la marca), los utilizo personalmente con mis Walkman y iPod Nano, y la combinación entre cada dispositivo me permite apreciar mejor las piezas de manera distinta (detectando igual que dispositivo es mejor compatible) , así mismo el hecho que se aprecie el sonido externo hace que de igual manera no te encuentres del todo distraído sobre todo si vas en la calle, personalmente los recomiendo mucho, aparte que son exactos para la cabeza y lo mejor es que no se calientan y ni molestan

No soporto los casos de diadema pues suelen ser gigantes y me molestan, pero estos son muy cómodos, pequeños y ligeros. Aunque diga que son para niños se adaptan a tamaño de cabeza adulta. Respecto al sonido, yo no es que sea muy sibarita, sinceramente, estos los uso para el PC en el trabajo y la calidad me parece más que aceptable por el precio.
