Grover133N Deluxe 3 Per Side Machine Heads, Nickel

The media could not be loaded.  I got these for my Epiphone SG with gold hardware they looked gold but they are chrome. Very happy with quality!

The Grover 133n are smooth and stabile. Did I envelope have to swap out the Gibson bushings. Went in easy as pie.

I really love the safety thing of these where the string ends go down inside the shaft and no extra ends sticking around to make you bleed.I had honestly been looking for this in a 3x3 format for years.What I don't like is the tuning ratio. I mean, it tunes fine enough. I wish it was 18:1 like their rotomatics but these are 14:1 and you can tell. Still great tuners but seems a weird thing to scrimp on.

Wanted a vintage look on a project guitar. These look great from a brand I trust. Did have to get conversion bushings to fit modern 10mm holes. Only gripe is the 15:1 ratio, but can live with it.

These are good but not great. They look great but there is definitely some slack when you start to turn or reverse. I don't know if they're any better than the cheapies on a budget epiphone but probably.

Not the best tuners in the world but they are surley better than average and they are solid and will surely hold up. They are well worth the money... and actually I like the old fashioned style. I was like wtf at first when I saw them but I like the fact that I can stick the end of the string in the hole and it not be pointing out and sticking anyone. Makes the headstock look cleaner too.... but like I said they are old style. So what that means is that instead of the peg having a hole through the side to stick the string through, it has a slit across the top and the hole goes down the center of the peg.

A vast improvement over the stock Epiphone tuners. I discovered a bad one when I was replacing the bridge. An easy upgrade, I didn't even change the bushings. I'll be getting a gold set for my Sheraton next.

Perfect drop-in replacement for Yamaha APXT2 stock tuners. No drilling, no new bushings. Nice improvement over stock.

These are great tuners. I never understood the appeal of vintage style split shaft tuners until I saw a video on how to restring them properly that revealed two big advantages: first, the sharp string end is safely tucked down the inside of the tuner shaft, no more pricked fingers; second, for those who do their own setups the strings can be removed from the tuner and replaced really easily.Note: these will not be a drop-in replacement for most guitars, especially those that have modern, fully enclosed die cast tuners: first, the anchor screws will not line up with previous screw holes so you will need to plug them and drill new l pilot holes (see photo of tuner back where the old screw hole plugged with a toothpick and carpenters glue is partly visible); second most modern tuners use a 10 millimeter shaft bushing while vintage style like these use an 8.8 millimeter bushing but there are adapter bushings readily available.

Excellent drop-in upgrade for a PRS SE Paul's Guitar. I was looking for a replacement to the stock (vintage, Kluson-style) tuners. Online I'd only seen Gotoh SD-90s suggested, but I was thrilled to find Grovers that were a match. Didn't even need to change out the bushings. These look and feel great, an excellent and inexpensive upgrade for a guitar that was already an incredible value.
