I am really pleased with this storage unit. It was fairly easy to put together; just need a little strength to hear the "click" but once they are set in place it seems very sturdy. I was amazed at how much room it has; I didn't get that impression when I ordered it but it does have a good-sized depth to store the covers for my lounge chairs plus garden gloves and shears for plant use. I love it.

Love this deck box. Not too large so it doesn't take up my entire deck, looks great, very sturdy and water/bug tight so my patio cushions stay dry. Easy to assemble and all parts were included and went together with ease.

Very Easy to put together - I put it together by myself in less than 10 minutes. I was originally very skeptical about it keeping items inside dry- but after a couple months of crazy summer weather in the Midwest it is definitely waterproof! It is overall lightweight but still a good quality. You also are able to use a lock on it as well, which I currently don’t use because I use this one for our kids outdoor toys. But I will be purchasing another one for packages to be placed into.

Upon receiving the bench I was alarmed at how flimsy and light weight the pieces were. But, once assembled, I was surprised at how solid/sturdy it felt (it can definitely hold 2 average size people). I decided to keep it because is has a nice appearance and the fact that it is light weight makes it easy to move around. Large in size, it currently holds my patio umbrella (with top and bottom poles separated), cushions for 2 chairs and a love seat, and many throw pillows, with plenty of room to spare. The lid remains open for use until you push it down which is helpful. I purchased the dark gray and love the color on my light gray deck. This is not difficult to assemble, however, you definitely need a second person to help due to its large size.

Box is larger than expected, lid closure is not snug but doesn’t easily fly open. Opening for small lock. Storage capacity is more than ample and secures multiple size packages.

Pulling this one from the box and laying out all the pieces was certainly unexpected and extremely overwhelming for me, so I just pushed it aside and waited for my husband to come home. I watched him assemble it entirely in less than 20 mins (5 of which were spent looking for the hardware that I had inadvertently misplaced), then I helped him load up the industrial sized water bounce house that we purchased for our kids to use intermittently over the summer to keep it from being exposed to the elements (which I’ve learned from past experiences is the fastest and surest means of ruining such an expensive investment for kid’s entertainment)! It held everything including the air compressor, water tubes, and the 45 lb water bounce house itself! There’s even a convenient netting that attaches to the lid which allows me to store the water tubes separately so that they don’t get kinked underneath the weight of the rest of the kit! Sometimes I have to maneuver the lid a bit to get it to close all the way, but otherwise it’s exceeded my expectations since it’s sturdy enough to double as a bench for my kids to sit on when they’re in time out from the water house! (Talking less than 100 lbs of kids combined, so please don’t misinterpret this as a recommendation for full grown adults or their hefty kids to use for sunbathing or something). Overall this was well worth the purchase and once it was all assembled and I had confirmed that it was capable of holding the intended items, I really couldn’t have been any happier with this transaction as it’s also very well priced for the quality! P.S. I moved some of the extra storage items out to demonstrate its capacity and you can see the additional space on top for the items that I removed off to the side. I call it “perspective”!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: These are so great for the money and easy to put together. I keep one outside to store and keep my birdseed dry and it works beautifully. I've had it outside in the Georgia sun for months and it hasn't faded or leaked when it rained. I keep another inside next to my garbage can to place broken down cardboard boxes to add later to the burn pile outside. A great way to hide that away.

1. Very cheaply made! 2. The way they pack the product and then unknown handling, resulted in some of the support pieces being cracked and broken. 3. 1 whole bag of parts including the screws (hydraulic lifting rams, locking hasps etc) to put the deck box together was missing (even though the carboard box was damaged from handling...see 2 above), there was no way for a bag of parts to fall out of the box....it was never put into the box. 4. Per the instructions inside the box, I called the manufacturer for the missing parts. I was told since I purchased from Amazon, I would have to go to them to get the missing parts. 5. Looked up my order on Amazon and they said to call the vendor (Yitahome). They said, as it was fulfilled by Amazon, that I would have to contact Amazon itself! 6. Called Amazon. Going through their prompts, none of the choices made sense for missing parts replacement. Finally got to talk to a human being. First, they wanted box up the one that I had to send it back, instead of sending me the missing parts. This thing is shipped flat and must be assembled, so to get it back into the box is pretty much impossible, plus trying to ship back from PR is a nightmare. Then they said they would refund me and I keep the box, which I declined as I just wanted the missing parts. Then the CSR decided to talk with the manufacturer (why did I not think about that? ...See #4 above!). The CSR came back on the line and said they were sending me ...I thought the missing parts from the manufacturer... then he said they were sending me a new whole box and dont worry about sending the other back. Not something that I requested (I just wanted my missing parts!) nor expected...what a waste. 7. Dont waste your time on this cheaply made box...it is less costly but...
