No Good
This was a big disappointment, Bought this to use on our well pump and this would not start it unless you stood there and toggled the breaker . running watts for the pump was only 1200 watts so the surge was only 3600 at best. The pump by the way is brand new. Went ahead and purchased the sigineer 6000 watt 24v inverter and have no problems. I returned the first one and got my money back

Doesn't work.
Didn't work at all. Didn't come with a manual. Unfortunately I waited too long to hook it up so I don't have any recourse.

Think of 8000w as a model number
Throwing in with J McDonald on the motor starting ; Bought a fixer upper - got the fedex treatment with a bunch of metal bent up - straitened all by hand, inspected interior and connections ; Fired it up, replaced a fuse or two, went and popped some popcorn - saw 1350 watts - ok, I am lucky on the fixer upper ; In afternoon, started to do load of laundry in old machine (book calls for 20A socket) - filled, got to start and choked - ran 15 seconds at most when trying more ; inverter did save itself and reset itself quickly but did not get it going ; Fried reliableelectric 3000w ran washer just fine ; This is a Power Jack with other label - have AMG model to get full rated amps on 120v - maybe need that feature - does have good design inside with separate boards for repairs ; Also, will try tomorrow in good to make sure the problem is not low input voltage . Won't be affording the sigineer anytime soon for sure.
