I started giving this colostrum to my dog a few weeks ago and have already noticed a difference. He usually struggles with seasonal allergies and constant itching, but his scratching has gone way down and his coat looks shinier too. My dogs love this stuff and it’s been great for them. It’s super easy to use, I love that the dosage guidelines and scoop are included. My only suggestion would be to secure the scoop to the lid somehow since it took a lot of digging in the powder to find it! I’m excited to find this product and will be ordering it again.

Buyers BEWARE. This is my second container I’ve purchased and the scoops are completely different sizes with the dosage still being exactly the same. The first scoop was labeled 3CC, and this second is 1CC. Both bottles recommend 5-6 scoops for my dogs body weight. That means the first bottle I used for him, I was giving him 18CC daily, and now I’m supposed to do 6CC daily. In order to properly dose your dog, you need to have a scale that is sensitive enough to measure out to the milligram, or you have no way of knowing if you’re giving your pet the right amount of supplementation. The recommended amount listed is 400mg per 15LB of body weight. As far as the effects, I can say I’ve seen anything dramatic. I was giving this to my pet for his usual seasonal allergies in combination with medicated baths and other sups and it looks like some of his masses that enlarge when histamine spiked have shrunk. I notice maybe about 20% less redness but itchiness is still the same. It took over a week to acclimate my dog to the full prior dose.

Good product

I have been giving this to my very itchy dog for about 6 months and seeing great results; however, like another purchaser, the last batch I received looked very different and the scoop was much smaller. I don't know what changed, but it doesn't even look like the same product. The original product seemed finer and fatty like you would expect colostrum to look like. The last cannister looks more granular, dry and not like colostrum at all. Very concerning that a change was made and the dosage is confusing with the new cannister. I may discontinue in favor of finding another product.
