The edges are glass with black backing versus metal coming around to the front. We returned mirrors that were nearly double the price. These were less and look better. Very pleasantly surprised. Review: Nice mirror, easy to install - The box was damaged on both sides, thankfully the mirror was packaged well surrounded by styrofoam for added protection and arrived without damage. The mirror was easy to install with two metal brackets that have two screws and plastic anchors for each bracket. It was common sense how to install. The directions are not helpful at all. The mirror also came with a protective plastic peel away cover and a white glove. I didn't need the glove, just remove protective plastic after hung on the wall. The metal hanger is also hidden on the wall and not seen when the mirror is hanging on it. Looks good. Modern design.

Extra large mirror, versatile plus great price!!
Needed a lg mirror due to old house with only a " medicine cabinet ". A lot of wall space to cover + sheet rock damage. Great value, quality product and easy install. Now going to paint cabinet trim black to match! Yay!
