Easy to install in small spaces, well protected and strong. I used these cables to replace cat5 ethernet so I could run 10Gb/s to every room in my house. They are easy to pull and have not failed me.

For the price of this cable my expectation weren't very high but I was pleasantly surprised cable came well package and connectors etc are of high quality. Connected and its been a couple of weeks flexing daily on my standing desk with zero issues on a 10G connection.

I've taken the plunge to run fiber for our entire house. There are a several places where I realized I will need at least 70+ feet of fiber. This is the first one that I tried and I was impressed. I have access to fiber at work, and this is actually better than some of the so-called "commercial-grade" fiber that we use for indoor work and very close to the outdoor fiber that we run minus the conduits. The price is terrific at about $30 for 30 meters. I suppose that as more and more people are upgrading their home internet to 10Gb, the prices were bound to come down. I can remember when I thought $20 per meter was cheap. Its extremely well made and I guess I wasn't necessarily surprised when I saw light, but I was happy that it worked. Unless you have your own splicer, having a 30 meter pre-made cable that you don't have to build yourself is pretty great. I might need at least one longer than 30 meters, but for now, I'm doing about one run per weekend. I got another 30 meter cable from a different brand. This one is better hands-down -- although the other one is currently only $20 for the same length. The quality is noticeably better with this brand. It's also about twice the weight for the same length. The big difference is the steel wrapping that this one uses to protect the inner fibers. I hope I don't have to worry about little critters chewing through any of my home wiring, but this one is actually made to handle that kind of thing. I don't know if I'd want to run fiber where my pets could reach it, but I'd pick rugged over cheap any day. I wouldn't be worried about running this in the highest (hottest) part of the attic by itself without any extra protection. I might not feel the same way about the other brand. The attenuation doesn't even register on my cheap meter, but with something this short it better not. You don't even need to bother measuring loss unless you have a really low quality fiber, and I hardly see that anymore even with 5K+ runs. Both of the brands transmit light the same in this respect (using 1550nm consumer optical converters). Overall, this is a great cable for the money and this one can confidently be put in rugged runs. Five stars.

I'm super pleased with this cable. I installed it on a property with a lot of rainforest. I pulled it thru a lot of conduits and PVC hose which I then buried next to my water and power lines to connect multiple houses. In combination with some (cheap) Gigabit LC to Ethernet Media Converters. I thought for sure during the pulling of this cable it would get damaged. But it survived and is working perfectly, saving me a LOT of money. I'll certainly be buying more of this cable in the future.
