I bought this as a tabletop fan for my office, which can be super hot in the summer (south Louisiana, old building). It definitely circulated the air well and helped keep me cool. I don’t have any issues with it leaking. My office is small, maybe 8ftx8ft and it works well for my space. Not sure if it would work for a larger area.

I bought two of these and unfortunately by the time they were delivered, it was not hot enough to use. Afterwards, we left for vacation and when it was finally hot enough to give it a try, they didnt work well and I missed the return window. I'm extremely disappointed in these they do not blow enough cool air they would never cool off even the smallest room let alone the person in front of them I had mine on my nightstand inches from my face and it did nothing to cool me off I would have been much better off just buying a giant box fan.

It worked and blew cold air when I put the water and ice in it. I was surprised how nice it felt and liked you could transport it easily. However, I returned it because of several issues: First the area to add the water is very small. It didn’t last me an hour on the lowest setting. I bought this in hopes of using it at least a couple of hours before having to refill. Though the fan was nice and powerful without the water and ice, I still didn’t want to pay that much for a simple fan. Lastly it came to me not only looking like it was used but broken lights. The machine came to me heavily scratched and slightly dirty. Also the light feature only displayed the color red, when the site says it displays several colors. Honestly, the color feature and slightly used issues would have been forgiven and I would have kept it, if the A/C portion lasted at least two hours.

I recently purchased this Portable Air Conditioner Fan and overall, it’s been a great little cooling device for the price. Pros: Very compact and lightweight, easy to move around with the handle. The fan has 3 speeds, and the airflow is surprisingly strong for such a small unit. I like the 2/4 hour timer feature – useful for bedtime. The 7-color LED light adds a nice touch, especially at night. Runs quietly, so it doesn’t disturb my sleep or work. Affordable compared to other portable coolers. Cons: It works best in small spaces or right next to you. Don’t expect it to cool down an entire room. The water tank is a bit small, so you need to refill it often if you want the cooling effect. Cooling effect is more like a mini air cooler/humidifier than a real air conditioner. Final Thoughts: If you’re looking for a budget-friendly cooling solution for your desk, bedside, or personal space, this is a solid choice. Just keep in mind that it’s not a substitute for a full-sized AC unit. For the price, it does its job well.

Great product as long as you have it close by. This misting feature is what makes it feel cooling, especially if you add ice cubes to the 1200 ml tank. Its nice that its not a large unit and fit nicely on my desk. I tried it outdoors where I live in a hot hot hot area, its nice to have the fan blowing on me but I just cant say enough how awesome the mist is. I do suggest when you find your placement for it make sure you put the strap behind the unit if you are using the mist because if its in the frost it will collect with water and it will drip. Air flow is just right, the unit is nice and portable. I have had it running for about 6 hours now and I'm nearly half way with the water in the tank. So it lasts nicely. Also its nice and quiet as well, it has a slight hum but its actually kind of relaxing. Haven't used it at night yet to see how the ambiance is of the light but I'm sure it'll be lovely, and hey cant go wrong w having a nice nightlight included. I do wish it came with a remote, hence the 4 star. I think for the price its alright, you'd probably get the same results if you got one of the less expensive ones. However it being that this is the biggest size tank (12000 ml) I saw sold for this size unit makes it worth the price.

It can be used but it's not an air condition. If you put ice in it by itself it won't have the cooling effect, you HAVE to add the water. I was thinking you could get the cooling effect with just the ice. When you add the water it does do a misting thing where it blows the cold air with water onto you. This is fine in the car perhaps (I haven't tried it) but in a room it can be an issue if you have electronics because over time that water can impact things like your laptop and your phone as it is putting unnecessary moisture into the air. In a car I can't imagine where you place it if there is water and ice in the container since it can fall over while driving and then water can spill everywhere. The package also says you can't use purified water - you must use tap water and I am confused as to why that would be a thing. It also has to blow DIRECTLY onto you for you to feel it. Very lightweight which isn't an issue if you are carrying it around. I didn't give in one star because it does blow breeze and it does blow the cold misty air but the design needs improvement.

Ok so I'm one of those women who are usually always over heating, especially at work. I drive my coworkers crazy with the a/c but jeez, they can put on layers to warm up, I can only take so much off-right? I searched for a good portable option for a a/c fan unit and landed on this one. I am extremely pleased with this purchase. It works so well, even I have to turn it down a notch or two as it works that well. Try it and you'll be pleased. The different settings provide several options for complete comfort. Zero noise, light weight, and easily moveable from room to room.10/10 recommend

Here's a new one: Upon unboxing this item, it was so light that it felt like it was just a display or a shell to show what the fan is supposed to look like. The power button and buttons for other settings were not real, just painted on. There was no power source (no cord, no plug, no battery). It could be that a real fan got shipped to some people, but oops, whoever is shipping these fans out should check they aren't just shipping the models. Even if it had worked, I learned by trial and error that these evaporative "AC" fans are really just fans, so why go to the hassle?
