Been buying this strap for my watch for years. It looks good quality and lasts a long time. Hirsch are one of the few manufacturer's who make watch straps that comes in odd sizes, to fit my Australian Opal watch

The quick release axles that now come on all Hirsch straps is an insane decision by the maker. It might suit some chunky sports watches but not a thin classic watch.Plus it digs into your wrist and on this occasion one of them was damaged and very sharp.As for the retailer, Watch Obsession, they were superb and could not do enough. They will happily switch the stupid knobs out if you wish. Excellent communication too, I will be buying from them again for sure!I used old axles, it was a close thing getting the knobby ones out. Nearly damaging the strap.Here's pictures of the two axles: One ok, one not.One came out easily, the other didn't and mashed the hole close to the end, luckily there's still just about enough meat on it to allow an axle to fit. And hopefully the hole won't matter or wear through.Really, if the maker insists on the knob, it should be in the middle, the slot for the knob is too close to the end.My watch has a very thin body, so the knob really seems odd. Not only that, because the slot to make way for the knob is close to the end, the edge of the strap at the hinge point is weakened. I'm happy, I got strap to work for me, however I do think that the little knob gadget is not fit for purpose and ruins what is a quality strap. Why change a design that worked? I have had Hirsch straps since I purchased the watch in 1991, feel wary of getting Hirsch again.

Looks much better in comparison to the brown strap that came with my original watch. Hirsch was recommended by many people online as being a decent quality strap. Would order again from this seller (WatchObsession).

Bought to replace an old Hirsch strap..... Hard wearing and good looking what's not to like.....
