For ease of use I pour two of these into my sprayer and just walk my yard spraying every weed type and.......it does its job. I find this better than the hose end sprayer for two reasons....first I get to pick and choose what I kill but mostly because if you use a hose end sprayer you can't seed your entire yard for months. Which is what I always used to do. Crabgrass really starts to pick up here in August. I would spray my yard with Spectracide hose end bottles and I'd have to do it a few times to get everything. But then I had to wait an entire month, really longer, for me to be able to plant grass seed and have it come up because this also prevents seeds from germinating. This way I can spray the actual weeds and if I have dead spots, I can go ahead and start seed going in them. Last year was particularly brutal so by the time I sprayed Spectracide hose end spray 80% of my yard was gone! Even with an irrigation system the weeds had taken over the grass. So that made getting seed in before winter hard and it also was harder to seed because there was just too much ground and rain would just wash my seed away. With this?
